Probably the most cost effective plane on HK. The reason is because it's a very old model and came in a repackaged box. It was missing build plan's and servo extention cable but HK has promised to send me the cable and gave me the downloads to the plan's. The motor and esc come without connectors so make sure you have it covered or else postman Pat will be feeding his black and white cat gourmet food. Nice sized and simple build could be completed in an hour or two with a soldering iron and little glue. Wings and tail have bolts but can also be glued in to save extra weight.

Yes it's worth buying; mind you I haven't flown it yet.

I put a Turnigy Nanotech 2200 4s in mine It flies fantastiaclly A really we'll priced good model It just needs a little bit of modelling experience and common sense to put together.

Firstly on Hobbykings part the plane for the price is excellent.
But and its a big BUT.. The company who makes this plane seem to have serious issues with quality control. I read other reviews from the international warehouse and so on about this plane before I purchased it and I noticed a few people who were missing bits of hardware from the kit.
Unfortunately taking a gamble the same happened to me.
The kit arrived and upon going through the hardware package I found almost 1/3 of the bits required to assemble the plane were left out.
Downright shameful quality control, There is NO WAY I can put the plane together.Both the wing and tail locking components missing. I just got a bag of screws and the hardware to mount the undercarriage and tailwheel.

Such a pity because the model itself is fantastic, epo well formed and parts fit snugg. Also its much bigger than I anticipated.

ATM im going through the customer support trying to get the hardware package but we will see.

Be careful with this one.

I like how this plane flies. Having never owned a sport plane before this one, I found it to be a reasonable plane without much trim change to keep it in the air.

In my case there was no hardware to install the control horns.

I also had to install weight in front and move the 2200 3s battery that I use all the way to the front of the plane.

Even with these minor issues, I'd recommend this plane.

De koop van dit kistje was een gokje. Leuk voor even erbij om mee stunten. Bullseye! Op de foto ziet dit ding er suf uit met z'n fletse kleurstelling. In glossy knalrood met witte striping is het echter een schitterende kist. Het epo is van prima kwaliteit en de kist is voor 60.- eus helemaal compleet. Het is geen figh performance kist maar gewoon een leuk, goed vliegend kistje (1200mm!), met schaal 3d capaciteiten. Recht omhoog vraagt om mods. Voorlopig hou ik hm origineel. Zwaartepunt ligt verder naar voren dan op de bouwbeschrijving aangegeven. Ongeveer 7 cm achter de voorste vleugelrand. Onderstel heb ik vervangen voor een rigide alu exemplaar. 4 corona dig MG servo's erin en de kist is zeer strak te vliegen. Vanwege de grote roeroppervlakten kun je de uitslagen klein houden (of expo bv -90). Absolute superbly priced aanrader voor erbij of voor beginnende 3d-ers.

I received 4 days ago, no damage parts, everithing was in the box except reinforcement for the front gear nacelles. I insert hinges in all movable surfaces and replaced the stock esc with a 40 amps, clavis should be changed as well cause the stock one are like butter; stock prop was to large to fit the original prop adaptor so i changed with a master airscrew 10*5. With full trhottle is 30 amps.
Today maiden flight, first one was too much heavy tail, 2200amp battery, so it was difficult to control at low speed, i flown 9 min. Take off at 20pcnt throttle and motor is no underpowered at all. Unfortunately the second flight wasn't good, motor mounting came off the fuselage after 2 min, but i was able to land without other crashes except the cowl and the prop adapter bent.
I suggest to reinforce the motor mounting to avoid my same problem... Also the lock system for the wing shall be updated, with the standard one i guess wings will separate in flight very soon...
In general I'm satisfied considering the low price, but i will be happy to spend few more bucks to have better hardware component

So far, very happy with this plane, it's my first of its kind, I think anyone wanting to fly a sport/3D type airplane should start with this one. Kit was shipped quickly from U.S. warehouse, double boxed, and took about 4 hours to put together including decals. The instruction manual has some good images, I recommend you fit check everything before you bond it. I have flown three batteries worth, very little trim needed. So far, sport flying is all I have done, motor/prop combo is very capable, climbs well. Landings can be a bit sketchy if the C.G. isn't right(as with any airplane). Overall, great kit that looks great when put together and is flying.

Got this plane and when i assembled it the weight is too much 1400grams from the indicated flying weight of 1000grams and it seems to be tail heavy using a 3000mah battery. Otherwise its a good plane.
