    Product Description

    NTM Prop Drive motors are rock-solid performance outrunners with tight windings, quality bearings, correctly rated magnets, balanced stator and flux rings plus they are QC checked at 14 points, from material processing all the way through to final dyno test.
    Because we design and build these motors completely in-house (from 3D/2D drawing to materials sourcing, machining, balancing, final assembly and dyno) we can completely control production and ensure product consistency from design right through to shipping the product to you. The removal of middle-men has meant we can drive better value to the market and retail these motors at factory(our) prices! All performance figures are real and tested on our own motor dynos.
    Our QC engineers check and balance each motor before shipping to the HobbyKing.com warehouse.

    I'm not impressed.
    First of all motor comes with no accessory pack,
    Second, Bearings are rubbish!
    One of the bearings is 5x7x2.5 (unobtainable it would seem).
    It seems the only way I can use this motor is to also buy a 4mm shaft, new bearings and an accessory pack on top of the motor purchase. Add to that shipping on a second order, and It's becoming a rather expensive motor...

    It's my second motor of this kind, the first one lived less than 10min until it was burned through, complete loss ... The second lost the motor shaft on the 2. flight.
    Have to get a new shaft and fixate it properly.

    The Quality of the motor is hardly 2 Crowns, rather 1 Crown

    With Shipping costs I have invested 40 already, if the 2. Motor isn't repairable I have invested 60, for 60 I could have bought a motor of real quality.
    RMA is still pending for the first motor, after 3 Weeks!!!

    Be sure to pick up a 28mm accessory pack with this motor, PRODUCT ID: NTM28-ACC, motor does not include it. Great motors, I've run them in the 36mm version and multiple 28mm versions.

    Very good motor for the Quad Q450 V3.

    A lot of power with 3s and SF 10x4,5 Prop.

    I have built it in my VMAR Piper L4 GRasshopper with an 30A ESC plus 10x6 Master Airscrew plus 3S 2200mAh the weight of the plane was about 900g. This Setup was enought to do Knife Edge, Turns and Loops. Enough Power to tow an 1kg Sailplane.

    I like the black color and the body prop adapter method. It has undersized bearings, need to replace them often. With Gemfan 9x5 prop for my Q450 frame, 4S(14.27V), pulls 1750gram at 34.5A (496W) and gets hot in seconds. At half throttle, 4S(15.31V) pulls 1050grams at 13.44A(201W) and still gets hot. Massive static cog ensures high vibration experience and powerful noise. It appears that the Turnigy XP series have better quality, although they don't look so cool.
