O.S. Max 95AX Two Stroke Glow Engine

In 1936, Shigeo Ogawa set up his original machine-shop, making model steam engines. At the same time the first 1.6 cc O.S. Type-1 miniature gasoline engine was made. 200 production models sold under the name “Pixie” were exported. A short time later the O.S. brand came about. The 95AX is the next generation of compact, yet powerful single cylinder engines. It features the same bolt pattern as the 75AX though boasts almost an a half a horsepower more! The 61C carburetor has an angled back needle valve which keeps your fingers much further away from a spinning propeller. Balanced crankshaft provides smoother running which is important on the larger single-cylinder engines as vibrations can literally shake apart the airframe. Includes new 4040 Power Box™ muffler which increases volume for greater power, while at the same time being very compact. Angular head design looks great and significantly increases surface area for better cooling. This ABL (Advance Bimetallic Liner) sleeved engine will provide years of power and reliability. Fuel for this engine is recommended to use 5~20% nitro, with at least 18% oil content.
