just flew it for the first time and it went great. I'm a first ime flyer and this was my first plane and I fully recommend this plane. Very stable and fun to fly.

- Required some foam removal to fit HXT500 servos.
- Control rods are perfect length.
- Excellent quality foam.
- I fitted my 6ch receiver in the rear hatch under the plane.
- Zippy 850mAh compact fits in the rear portion of the cabin and balances nicely.
- Split the nose and removed the motor mount in order to fit my 1800kV Turnigy motor with it's 7x5 prop and 12A Plush ESC.
- Added a plastic tab to remove canopy because the magnet is soooo strong.

Flies beautifully. Heaps of elevator authority. Less aileron authority, but it is sufficient. Ailerons could be cut longer as it is supplied with control surfaces uncut.

Buy a Y harness for you aileron servos.

Very pretty little kit, smooth and compact foam.
Reversed the shaft of a Park 250 and it went in perfectly.
Didn't have to re-build the nose, just fitted the engine mount first.
Installed the engine by making 2 small holes through the sides of the cowl to get an allen key in to tighten the mount's grub screws.
Used HXT500 servos but they are too fat. Not much problem in the body, just trimmed the covers to accomodate the extra 3 mm. Didn't dare to attack the wings to deepen the recesses, it only would have left 2mm of foam so I just left them hanging out a bit. Ugly but we'll see how that affects the flying.

Highly reccomended !!!!!!!!!!!
Went together easily with the only problem being I used 6gm servos instead of 3s but just a small bit of removing foam and they fit perfectly.
With cg @ 30mm from leading edge and with all control surfaces at neutral it flys perfectly straight.
I decided to not use the prop and fitted a 40mm EDF on top and it went even better.
Still glides great but now with more speed, even with auw being 280gms.
My new favourite.

At first Ive had a hard time to find the CG and it is incredibly pitchy. I really could not get it to fly, finally I've installed the RX3S OrangeRX 3-Axis Flight Stabilizer in the front, the receiver in the center and the battery in the back and only then was I was able to fly it! At last a low cost way for me to learn to fly beside the simulator.

Nose dive it into the ground so many times and the motor and prop is still good, the canopy tab where the magnet is broke twice, glued it back with hot glue, the fuselage broke once in center where the elevator and rudder servos are, used CA glue and the elevator broke on one side once, just glued it with hot glue and was back in the air. Ive never broke any of the main wings yet and I thought they would have been the first thing to break.

Incredibly tough little plane, Great to learn to fly, crashed this plane too many times to count,

Since Im a three months old beginner I like it for the learning Im getting out of it by building it, flying it and the hard time I was able to give it and Im still using it. I've bought a spear one for parts and never had to use any parts from it yet. I have other planes now but this one is still a favorite.

Very easy to build. Fly's beautifully, 100pcnt stable, will fly hands off. Slow & sedate on 2s lipo. Wings are quite strong & wont break easily. I recommend perhaps a motor with a 3mm shaft as motor bent its 2mm shaft too easily.

Ive bought 2 of them and wasnt dissapointed, they are just great! I think i am going to order some more ;)

U dont need 5 g servos, 3-4 g are completely enough. For the ailerons, ive used the "Hobby King 3.7g / .4kg / .10sec Micro Servo" and theyre fitting perfect, its as they were made for this plane.

3 Days in transit from Aus warehouse - always a pleasure for those "impulse" purchases ;-)

Challenging to assemble due to the access to motor mount. I split the fuse, removed the mount, mounted the motor, and glue'd the mount and fuze back together.

As previous said, HXT5's require removing a little material to fit, no issues with shortened pushrods. One wing is heavier than the other, and as I dont like adding dumb weight, I modified the wing joiner tube to re-balance.

Flies well with Park 250/ 4602S Nanotechs, but stick with small/ light electrics to keep AUW low. (9g ESC, remove Rx case etc)

Park 250 requires moding to fit spinner, so use a bell style motor where possible.

Am yet to get any long flights, as it is still nose heavy and requires power to stay up. For the $$$, a great bargain :-)

I'm just putting my plane together now. I got the turnigy park 250 motor based some review comments. This is not an ideal motor for this plane kit. The motor is set up to use the prop saver and the shaft does not stick out the front far enough for the collet of the foldable prop to reach. The mount in the plane is arranged to have the motor mounted in toward the front of the planes mount. Better to buy a motor with the shaft coming out the front already. Maybe the Turnigy 1811 Brushless Motor 2000kv would work.
