Ordered 4 servos and 1 of them hangs up and will not work from time to time. The other 3 seems to work well on the bench. Will try to use warranty on the bad one.

Having used the PowerHD 9150's and 1501's ALOT in 30 and 50cc airplanes, I wanted to try out the DS090's on a 30cc plane.

These are very fast, center extremely well and have a very tight gear train. If you are building a 30cc ship, trust me, the DS090's are an excellent servo for the money. No need for expensive Hitec, Futaba or JR servo's if you are on a budget.

Try one and when you test it out, I'm sure you will be ordering in more before they go out of stock.

Here is a quick video I took of the servo's installed in a wing.

Fast and able to take 6-7V, using them on LiFe setup will see how will them perform in terms of durability. Centering is a little less impressive but still good for use in cyclic application.

Looks like an excellent servo for price. Intended for a SBach 342 30cc ARF. Apparently Servo arms to fit => use Futaba

We use them as steering servos on our 1/10 cars. They were in water, got a lot of hits etc. After 8 months of heavy using, my son broke body somehow. But mechanics and electronics are still ok. Centering is still good and they are still powerful and fast. In the beginning gearing was a little bit noisy and one servo was in one position a bit tight when rotating by hand.

Conclusion after long term test: good servos and we did not have problems.

Ok, ordered 6 of these for 30cc Sbach 342.

One servo failed after first couple flights.

Before maiden flight, servo was buzzing and trying to center so I suspect it was fubar out of the box.

Bottom line, other 5 servo's are flying my plane flawlessly.

Ordered Hitec 5625's to replace these after first servo failed but to date, still using these and they are doing the job and doing it well. Knock on wood.

Waiting on warranty servo now.

These servo's are every bit as good as the HD 120's. I feel they're better for small smaller planes.

Top quality servo. They centre well and have a decent amount of torque that more than satisfys my rc car needs.

About to install these in a 30cc Slipstream SBach 342 on ailerons. My first experience with PowerHD servos and I'm very impressed, they are vary well built, and even on a CC BEC set to 5.2V, they are speedy and powerful. The resolution and centering are very impressive, I'm looking forward to seeing how they work out in flight, but I have no qualms about using this servo.
