The Q450 is a well thought out 450mm quad frame built from quality materials. The main frame is glass fiber while the arms are constructed from ultra durable polyamide nylon.

This version of the Q450 features integrated PCB connections for direct soldering of your ESCs. This eliminates the need for a power distribution board or messy multi-connectors keeping your electronics layout very tidy.

Assembly is a breeze with pre-threaded brass sleeves for all of the frame bolts, so no lock-nuts are required. It utilizes one size of bolt for the entire build, making the hardware very easy to keep in order and only requiring one size of hex wrench to assemble.

A great feature of this frame is the large mounting tabs at the front and rear of the main frame bottom plate for mounting cameras or other accessories. This makes for a great way to take aerial video or fly FPV without the need to add any additional mounting brackets.

The Q450 also features colored arms (2 white and 2 red) which are great for orientation. It helps to keep you flying the right direction without the need for different colored props.

We offer a full line of multi-rotor electronics such as multi-rotor control board, ESC & motors. It has never been easier or more affordable to get a quad in the air!

Integrated PCB connections for direct soldering of your ESCs

had mine for a while and only got round to flying it recently and the first rough landing broke an arm, got a replacement DJI for 4, they are much thicker and better quality plastic. Flew it again and about 1 feet up and the motor cut out landed on one arm quite gently and broke another. The PCB is useful but put a tiny bit if heat on it and the connection fell off. In my opinion i would nit buy this if you want one get the DJI f450 frame, it has better arms and PCB. and it is only about 25.

Pretty good frame. Arms are not as strong as I thought. Took a pretty soft landing in the grass at the local park and broke an arm. Maybe I just landed on that one arm which caused it to break, but im not sure. Otherwise a pretty well built frame and would definitely order more.

Bought this cheap frame with KK2.1 board, Turnigy ESC Plush 30a, NTM 800kv short shaft, 10*4.5 props. Firstly, the screws that came with the motor acc. were too short to install them on the frame: had to buy ones... Then, the holes don't fit to install the KK2 board. Had to create a board to install it... The screws that come with the frame don't fit very well and can unscrew during flight, I put a little bit of hard glue on them.
Finally, for my second flight, I loose a prop. when the quad was around 5m height (it's because of the poor quality of the fixations that were unscrewd during flight PRODUCT ID: NTM2830S-800 !!!). No spare parts are available on HK. But for the price you can buy another frame if it is in stock.
However, I liked the integrated PCB and the easy way to mount it (if you have all the pieces!). If you want to do FPV, you will not have a lot of space to place everything... A landing skid is a must have on it.
I would not recommend it because of all those negative points. Price is not all that matters.

Two front arms broke off in a very light crash, my 3D printed quad arms are stronger than these. As far as a kit, it was nice to put together, the intergrated PCB is handy, but if it can't survive one small crash, its not worth the build time. Won't be buying another one of these frames.

This is a very cheap frame, and works well. The problem is that the arms are INCREDIBLY fragile. I have broken 3 already. I bought a spare frame so I had spares but the arms are a terrible design. I added another deck to mine by using a top plate from my second kit. Good for housing all of the FPV equipment within leaving the top deck free for the controller.

Awesome frame all around, I didnt have any issues with the supplied screws that others reported (maybe the new batch is improved). Everything was straight forward. This was my first quad build and I used this frame with (4) Turnigy D2822/14 1450kv motors, (4) HK Afro 20amp esc's and (4) Gemfly 8045 props and it has tons of power and runs cool. Very happy with everything from HK. A 3s 2200 40c pack gives about 8min flight. Highly recommended, the integrated PCB is a must have, so easy.

Very good Frame for light quads.
The weight is high but the durability is very good.
Easy to build and rebuild if necessary :)

Best quality/price. My first real quadcopter. I bought as spare, because in crash case, the single arms broke in two points.
