Have you been thinking about a brushless gimbal for your Multi-Rotor to feed your cinematographer inner child? Don’t get suckered into buying a sub-par overpriced kit. Do the math and look at the value of these ready to go Quanum brushless gimbal motors. They are pre-wound for optimal torque and smoothness and two sizes picked for the two most common class cameras.  They come with a servo style connector and flexible cable, for plug & play compatibility with most Brushless Gimbal Controllers such as the one we offer below. Build your gimbal right the first time, one matched to your frame with quality parts verses a generic universal kit that will compromise overall performance from unnecessary weight and poor balance for your particular camera, and bypass the quality issues that plague Kit level components. Take your setup to the next level with Quanum Quality.

The 2208 is the perfect size for a GoPRO class cameras (100-200g).  It has a superb Fit and Finnish and is engineered to have a lean profile for easy integration into your set-up. The 2208 has preloaded bearings for slop free precision mount, and 14 poles (one of the highest for a motor this size) for ultra-smooth motion. The 2208 brushless gimbal motor is perfect for an upgrade to a kit setup, or the base for a DIY custom gimbal. Whatever your use, if it needs to be stabilized Quanum Brushless Gimbal Motors are up to the task.

Great motors for my 3D printed TBS Disco gimbal. Once tuned, these motors held solid even in gusty winds. I've been using these motors for around 50 flights so far without issue.

Good motor from quanum. Please make sure how many scre holes youe gimbal require to mount the motor. Mine was 3 from one anf 4 form the other one. I simply used old motor body and shaft as it turned out ot be identical :)

Pros:
*They work
* Not too expensive
* Look nice.

Cons:
* The design is too high, not pancake enough.
It's a general purpose motor just rewound for gimbal use.
* The motor top mounting surface diameter is too small & uses M2 screws
This is not a motor designed from scratch as a gimbal motor.
* The lead and motor wire connections are poorly soldered and supported.
* Lead wire are poorly supported where they exit the frame.
Again, the mechanical design is not a good gimbal motor one.

YOU SHOULD REINFORCE THE LEAD WIRES attachment to the motor frame with CA and some filler material, or expect them to break.

Great motor so far. Replaced a 2208 iPower motor. But nicer finish and smoother operation. Will report back after some testing.

Not recommended. In 1 of 3 motors I've ordered stator had contact with some of the magnets. And then 'servo' wires broke off from the stator (which is basically not possible to fix). I've reinforced the connection with some CA on the 2 another motors.

You were warned. You will be better off with Turningy 2212 motors.
