This high end camera was built for FPV flying in mind. It comes with all the characteristics you need for FPV racing, including ultra-light weight and low latency.
The Quanum 700TVL camera has excellent 7 element glass optics and the FOV is around 156 degrees with an aperture of 2.0. The focus can be adjusted to get the focal length you want and then locked to this length. This all adds up to ultra-clear optics.
Also, the crystal on the back side of these is surface mount, not hanging like most other board cams, making it less susceptible to vibration damage. Adding to the excellence it also has plug and play servo pins for fast connection and silicone wiring to avoid stressed cables and better resistance to vibration and heat.
An extra feature is the OSD connection which allows for manual configuration and the ability to add your name into the internal OSD.
If you are also looking for low light performance and infra-red capable camera, then this 2.1mm 700TVL lens camera is the one for you.
There is also a PAL version available.

Im writing this review MONTHS after buying it. I wasn't aware of how good it was at the time, but now that I've compared it to another 700tvl and a 600tvl I can say its a really nice camera. The only issue it has is the saturation. The color is dull and I don't know how to calibrate it with the OSD connection. But It looks great, just slightly dulled out color. My 600tvl has better color but lower resolution. The build quality seems nice and sturdy. The camera lens looks great and high quality. However, I am unable to use the camera as the light flickers and gives a "double" effect on everything. I don't know if I received a bad unit, but it's simply awful and unusable.
