Just because you may have outgrown your Legos and Erector sets does not mean the fun has to stop. Introducing RotorBits, the modular construction set of endless possibilities. Based on the idea of standardized connections and dimensions, the only limit to what can be built is your imagination.
RotorBits can be recycled and reused into other creations, mix and matching different bits to make a Y6 or Bi-Rotor! As your collection of Bits grows and concepts evolve with plug & play easy, who knows what you can come up with? Have club competitions for creative ideas or races for fastest box to air builds. RotorBits is one idea that can never be outdated only reconfigured.

This Yaw mount is superb. It is good option for DIY Tricopters. The only problem I found is you need to use 10x10mm booms. Would be good if they had 13x13mm option as well.Great solution but poor quality. Aluminium parts should be cut me more precise. I had to glue in tail part to motor mount. Tail screw didn't fit because of imperial diameter vs metric from the opposite side. Its now M3 and holds tight. Had to purchase HK servos, standard servos didn't fit at all.
After all modifications works great. The injection molding is pretty dead on for tension fitting onto the rotorbits shafts. But, the amount of backlash in this gear to gear setup is really bad. The servo has to push perpendicular to the servo shaft (you could wrap a rubber band around both to solve) and the gears aren't cut to reduce backlash. They are good for prototyping, but in the long run I'm switching to something stronger and more accurate.found this page if any one wants to know how to make this
http://blacktieaerial.com/2014/12/11/assembling-rotor-bits-servo-mount/good design for a tri tailIm using the TGY 9018MG, I noticied that this mount does force too much the servo, expect some broken gears ;)balla tutto e ha la tendenza di stincarsi brucciando il servoworks great - - if you find a fitting servo 8-)))For the price you can't beat it. The fact that the servo has to be zip tied is kind of weak but I will 3D print something for it.I replaced the delicate X900 assembly with one of these. Much more crash resilient and spares available.
