Purchased these retracts, but need to move the mounting plate from the side with the trunnion to other. The plate is held on with screws and the other side has tapped holes as can be seen in the picture on the product listing. Issue is, the hole pattern on the retract is different between the two sides, so the screw holes in the mounting plate don't align. Question, is there another plate available or has anyone found a way to attach the existing ones to the other side?

A heavy landing in May 2018 meant that I had to replace the main undercarriage on my FMS FA-18F edf jet. These units dropped into place but also required 30cm servo ext cable to reach the RX. The oleo's main leg needed to be drilled out to fit the 4mm oleo mounting pin on this unit. Happy with the purchase so far.

I have no idea why these are listed under the Durafly Spitfire spares pages. These are not even close to fitting the Mk5 1100mm Spitfire - they are *way* too big. (And I did actually check with HK in advance that they were the right ones - they said yes!)

Whilst fitting these to a modified fixed wheel plane, one of the retracts suddenly stopped at 45 degrees intermittently. Despite several attempts at resetting and even taking the item apart, I could not find any obvious fault. Rather than risk an expensive plane landing on 2 wheels or none at all, I have purchased another set in the hope that it was a one off.

I opened one of these up and it is very well made using a worm screw creating a very strong and rigid setup. Works great for using as retracts on a drone, attaching it to some carbon fibre legs. The threaded holes in the unit use an M2 thread in case you're using the holes for mounting purposes which is what I did. Perfect

Used with a y servo cable so both work in sync. nice amout of torque for the size. Perfect
