The easiest way to put retracts in your plane. No need to install a control box, messy wiring or a complicated air system. Just screw in the retracts, connect to your Rx and you're ready!
Reliable servo mechanism with metal gearing and a high torque motor ensures trouble free flying!
Why bother with air systems when you can now have a realistic and reliable electric unit at a fraction of the price?!
3 seconds over current and jamming protection
Include fitting to twist the strut 90 degree when retracted
Smart circuit keeps the unit retracted even if you connect the power, only a transmitter signal will move the retract.
Light weight no-mess design.
Working voltage: 4.8~6.0V
Working current: 0.1~0.3A (3 seconds over current protection)
Not suitable for a plane heavier than 2.5kg
I have been waiting for them for 5 months now on backorder, what is the deal? I wrote to HK lack of customer service, got the standard reply, so therefore 0 stars. What is the deal hobbyking???You can't beat the price but the quality isn't there. I installed these on a PZ Habu and one of my main retracts has failed and won't come down. That poses a problem on Landing!!! I buy 2 sets for every 1 needed and you will be fine! The linkages had a lot of slop to them and the movement wasn't very smooth, but I can live with that. The dealbreaker for me was when one of them started going up and down erratically with no input from the TX (EPA was set properly). Then it just stopped moving altogether. Lucky for me this happened within the first 5 minutes of installing them, so the plane never actually flew with them on..J'ai achet un ensemble complet et il fonctionne trs bien avec un rcepteur 7 voies ASSAN et une radio futaba FC18I have these fitted to a 4lb (1800g) EDF Gloster Meteor and thus far 15 landings mainly on grass without problem. Fantastic value for money in my opinion and will be buying more.
AdrianReceived them in good order and tested them with my hobbyking V2 6 ch XMTR.
They work fine and stable and also it possible to let them turn 90 degrees when they retract(for use in F4U ore P40) legs look great and stable too.
greets TimmybeetleI put these in my Hyperion mustang 25E and have worked great for about 40 extension/retractions. One has failed. Possible moisture inside. For the price they are good.Yes it retracts times two.I have a trike set fitted to a 1800g Gloster Meteor edf jet. So far two takeoff and fast landings from the club grass strip have not shown any issues with the units unlike some air retracts I tried in another lighter plane some time ago that tore out the mounting lugs on takeoff. The operation is very scale like and the automatic cut out appears to work very well. Useful is the function that stops the units retracting on power up despite the switch position. It will save nipped fingers and models for sure.
AdrianPut these in a PZ P47.
Maybe 30 take-offs from pavement and an all weather soccer field. Only about 6 landings on the gear.
One folds in now when trying to take off. The slightest pressure collapses the gear.
Not very rugged.
