Have not had the chance to try it yet but im really excited, will follow the build-blogs on myhobbycity.com as good as i can but i have some own ideas..

Double 2200mAh Zippy 25C, the most expensive gyro from hobbycity and my Futaba 7C 2.4GHz. Servos will be digital HK with full metall gears.

I think this is the largest helicopter you can buy without having a battery stolen from your car to power it...

Received this last week and as above fit and finish are excelent. Quality throughout and great value. One note the 2213MG servos are too small they do not offer enough hight for swash to shaft collar clearance. Looking at Rudi's build log photos my main shaft stand looks a little taller resulting in the top collar being higher. Swash links are not long enough to compensate. I have to order some larger servos now. Rudi your build log was great.

Hello everyone,



I recieved my Sjm 430 as my first cp heli. Bought him here by hobbycity. I use 3 hites HS 625MG for swash and the GY401 with S9257 futaba for gyro.

It flies amazing. And for the first time I'm also starting to understand the techniques for maintain this beauty. Like working at it. Easy setup. My Esc was easily set up with my transmitter, super soft start,....:)

Rhino's for the power :)

"The SJM430 does not have any head dampening. Therefore it flies VERY precise. You have to set it up carefully though, cause without dampening vibrations are also not dampened, so balancing needs to be done very carefully.

Also the heli is rather sensitive on collective pitch, so you may wanna dial collective throws down a bit in your transmitter for your first flights."

Wow, how can you go wrong with an all metal heli for this price? The heli construction is very strong and sturdy. I ordered all the components in Hobbycity together with the Heli and was able to put everything together in an afternoon. I highly recommend this helicopter for those that want to upgrade the from smaller 400 type of helis.

And 5 stars for Hobbycitty selling this unit at such a great price!
