The Skyfun can be used by novice and advanced pilots alike. With a maximum speed of around 120km/h and a slow stall speed, the Skyfun is a park-jet you will want to take everywhere.

Made with high-pressure EPS and a polished mould, the Skyfun is extremely stiff, has a smooth glossy surface with factory applied graphics and yet is very crash resistant!

This is the new upgraded version (v1.1) of the SkyFun - it now has a stronger alloy motor mount and a 2500kv motor rather than the 1800kv of the original.

What does this mean? More speed straight and more power out of the box!

One of my best planes

Dec 07, 2017

I've put together about 50 ARF kits. For being plug and play, this Skyfun is nearly perfect. For the price, it's great value because of the joy you get from its speed and aerobatic ability. High speed passes, inverted flying, hammerhead looking turns, loops, etc... all a joy to experience. First, the things that can improve - this needs a higher amp ESC. The prop/motor combo can push out 360 watts and 33 amps. Never use WOT for more than a burst here and there or the ESC can either brownout from overheat or burn out. The brownout has happened to me in the summer but of course no issues in the winter. Use plenty of tape on the bottom if you don't land on a golf course green fine grass. I land on farm grass and the occasional hard twig can out deep gouges on the frame. The tape will help. For the good stuff - this is a speed beast for the sub $100 you pay. I estimate stock speed at 60 mph but I will confirm that later with a speed measuring device. If you're an advanced pilot, inverted flying is fun, very easy to do in this plane. The sound is nice also, like a finely tuned race car in the distance. All in all, a good buy.

this is a superb aircraft fast stable slow stall point great fun i have flown rc for 42 years this is a plane you can carry in the boot and fly anytime stable in 26 mph winds climbs verticle to cloud base inverted flight stable shame it does not have rudder for knife edge but all in all this plane is fun fun fun lots to learn for a pilot gaining skills when you can fly this plane inverted 2 feet from the ground at full throttle then maybe its time to move up a notch i suggest putting black stripes under surface i placed one 2 inch down under surface fuselage and 3 a side each wing so that when flying at distance you can see the position easily stopping disorientation as the underside is plane white one of the black duck tape stripes on each wing covers the wing glue points strengthening the wings i have not fitted any plastic strips they are not included however i have flown the plane at max g- force and the wings are fine, looks great in the air you will love flying this plane has a great glide i have even turned the motor off and climbed in thermals happy days

I got this plane without any user manual, without glue, without wing support
It is made from very bad epo foam,it can be broke easly
On my first test,i hold it in my hand (lucky)motor was burned and smoked up for half minute on half throttle
This is very very bad and i do not recomend it

This was a quick and easy build with no need for instructions! I have been flying mine on 1300mAh 3S 25-50c batteries and can easily get in 10 minutes of flight time because this model flies so well at low speeds. One of the best deals on HK!

Plane arrived without damage however the epoxy had leaked into the bag coating the prop and servo covers but it came off easily with a little spirit and a touch of Gorilla Glue worked as well as the epoxy. The build was simple (I bought the plug and fly version), just attach the wings and fins, insert a receiver and battery.....that's about it. Looks great, flies well.

One of my favourite models that I own. Its main merit is its diversity, in that it tracks very well and can fly almost like a trainer with 60/40 or 70/30 DR and Expo, but it can also perform some crazy aerobatics, with a monumental roll-rate on 100pcnt rates. I find this plane a joy to fly for thrills or just for a relaxing fly.

My main (if not only) criticism of the Skyfun Jet is that the canopy clips do a very poor job of holding the canopy on, and will give way after a few rolls (which resulted in my canopy getting slightly chopped!). A cheap fix for this is just putting 3 squares of velcro on the model, and 3 corresponding squares (soft or rough for both, not different) on the canopy (I did one at the nose and 2 at the back end), and then using a strip of the other part (rough if soft on body, vice versa) to connect the two.

This plane is also very comfortable for landing, and is ideal for someone just entering the intermediate category.

I have owned two of these in total, my first when I just entered intermediate stage, and one now with a souped-up power set. It is a great learner plane and can build confidence and skill!

Took me all of 10 minutes to glue together. Brilliant!. Comes in 5 pieces and requires nothing other than glue to attache the wings and fins. I pinned the canopy down by pushing a bamboo skewer through the fuselage. This is a great aircraft and flies equally well slow or fast. 3s 1300 gives plenty of power, even enough to give unlimited vertical. Cut the power and this thing will glide forever! It' as much fun to fly as a Stryker and a fraction of the price. I've seen one fitted with a 4s lipo but be careful if you do this - the elevon hinges may need reinforcing. The one is saw had an elevon detach in flight which caused a terminal crash.

my order arrived ok and on time no probs so far !!!

On first inspection it seemed OK until I decided to put it together.
The Canopy perspex cover just fell off
The two part adhesive that was supplied was well past it's sell by date and was no where near enough to complete the model
The motor was loose and very noisey
No carbon fibre reinforcement rods were supplied
The servo covers were useless and very poor fit
Typical cheap hobbyking rubbish
After several mods I'm optimistic it might fly
