This boat is fast with stock set up but needs trim tabs to make it more stable. Would not recommend 6s as the motor pulls to many amps. 4s is wayyyyyy plenty.

this is my first boat and my only one ill ever have, its stupid sable after adding trim tabs other wise boat was skipoing on 4s with stock setup wich was 650kmh. after all mods and upgrades im hitting 86 kmh with 5s lipo and custom props from a good guy in russia. boat glides smoothly without a single skip at full speed when trim tabs are installed correctly.

cant go wrong and im thinking about getting another one but in a different colour

This is a cool boat. I wrote a review before praising it and I will do again in the light of even more experience racing it. Ist: get a bigger rudder. 2nd run 2x3000-4000 4S is parallel. Reason: This boat has lots of lift and with a 4S its difficult to get a set up that keeps the bow down - either that or get a set up that allows you to run a 2S in group N offshore racing. Mine now has around 150 G of lead in the bow as well, with the prop running about 1 degree angled down. Mine also has a big cut under the hull from someone else s rudder: you make and break em I guess.

I bought mine 2 months ago and I am pleased with it. Quality is top notch finish-wise though the motor rails could have been better epoxied. Rudder is a bit small but the motor is good as is the choice of prop. It was instantly on the money at my club.
I burn out a 160A ESC because of the rudder not being long enough to pick up water reliably so I have now changed to a dual water pickup - 1 from the rudder feeds the motor and a new tube on a carbon strut picks up the out-wash off the prop: it works great, even when coming out of a poor turn. Hobby King how about a prop water pick up product?

A great package and really only needs trim tabs on the Hull to set it right.
I have the HK Aquastar 160A ESC along with a decent waterproof servo some decent 4S 40 C LiPos and you are set. Recommended.

Very nice boat ,finish is excellent inside and out. There is a lot of room inside this boat Tighten all nuts and bolts. The only thing I have changed is the turn fins ( PRODUCT ID: HK-517B11) and added Stainless Steel Trim Tabs (PRODUCT ID: HK-516B12) also changed the rudder because the stock one is too short, replaced it with the genesis rudder only(PRODUCT ID: HK-502B20). With the parts I replaced the boat runs true, no porpoising and no skipping-out in turns.
I run this boat stock with a 4s 5000MaH battery, Turnigy 180amp marine esc and a H-King High Torque Waterproof Analog Servo(PRODUCT ID: 9225000013) I like this boat, just put the battery in and away you go.
