Hole in ball is 2.6mm and thread in nylon body is smooth hole 2.8mm
I bought 18 packs and are useless to me.

Good for 2-56 or 3mm rod. Makes a big diff if used as the attachment to a servo arm and a strong control surface mount at the other end. Eliminates slop all together.
