The Sprint F3 is the product of several years of design testing and development to create a highly competitive, race ready Tunnel Hull that does not require building yourself. The innovative outboard motor setup is powered by a high-torque brushless outrunner motor connected to a direct drive flex shaft which powers the prop.

The fiberglass work is top notch, making for a smooth finish without flaws. The paint and decals have been expertly applied along with a final glossy clear coat to seal the surface. The color scheme is bright, sharp and highly detailed.

Performance is really what the Sprint F3 is all about. The pre-installed 3000KV brushless outrunner motor provides huge amounts of power to the prop. The outboard setup comes as a complete unit which simply bolts on to the hull allowing for quick assembly/disassembly. Water cooling is pre-installed.

A battery mounting plate is pre-installed as well as a servo mount. The servo simply bolts into place making for a very easy yet secure installation. The battery tray is large and will accommodate a wide range of pack sizes.

Good for beginner

Apr 15, 2018

Good for a begginer as its not very fast out of the box. I ran it on a zippy compact 3s 2200mah 60c lipo. Motor mount was glued in place which took a bit of force to get it to come loose to adjust the outboard.

Exceeded Expectations

Apr 11, 2018

This boat exceeded expectations, the finish and quality of the boat and motor is VERY good. The hull finish is beautiful with all the decals nicely applied and the gloss clear finish is very smooth, tough and clear.
The motor is nicely made and appears very solid, follow advice and grease the shaft regularly and you will have no problems.
This boat is fantastic value for the price and i am so glad i bought one, lots of fun...

Nicely moulded hull with a great high gloss finish. A good looking boat. However, be warned,
the steel shaft seized in the "brass" bush locking up the propeller after 30 secs running.
This caused the motor to burn out. There was no sign of oil or grease anywhere inside the outboard assembly, very poor quality control. Hobby king would not entertain my complaint unless I submitted a video. Of a seized outboard motor, really !!.
A replacement motor (scorpion) and upgraded shaft and bush from TFL Germany solved the issue at great cost. The boat performs beautifully now, but this has been a very expensive exercise. If you purchase this boat, before you do anything, strip the outboard and grease/oil the solid and flexi shaft.

This boat is much nicer than I expected. The outboard system is amazingly machined and detailed. The only problem I've run into so far is the motor wire insulation wore away and the salt water I'm running in shorted the motor and burnt it up. It's pretty quick out of the box. I've upgraded to the turnigy hk 2865 -2900kv on 4s w 160A aquastar spinning a 335-3 prop. Patiently waiting for the right conditions to test this setup. I'll will let you all know. Overall, great value.

I grabbed this boat when it was on sale for $140 aus.
installed a 120amp hobbyking esc and I use a turnigy 4s 4000mah 40c lipo.
the boat has done about 6 packs of run time and it works very well, checked it on the gps and it pulled a run of 71kph, great hull im very happy with it. motor temp was around 35c and esc was 45c with the lipo also at 45c.

When I unboxed mine there were screws and hardware loose in both the box and hull, luckily I could find everything. Where the hatch connects to the nose is a joke, it requires modifications before running. Instruction manual is next to useless, doesn't even tell you how to grease the outboard. Also nothing is properly sealed at the back. However this boat handles speed runs like it i on rails, on 3s it is pretty fast and on 4s it is insane. I run with my prop angled down slightly on 3s and a bit further down for 4s. I had a shaky start with this boat, but now I love it, it is my go to RC at the moment. I have heaps of youtube vids, and a discussion thread on RCgroups, look me up, ValiantGLX

Looks really nice. Unfortunately UK seems not to be part of EU for some, as I needed to send it with a help of friends.

I have had some time now with this boat and am extremely pleased with the overall package. Finish on this is next to none, beautiful. Lots of room inside for a 24" hull as the motor is obviously on the back. Have upgraded to a Turnigy Typhoon 3450 running twin 5800 Nano tech packs for a total of 4S to the motor. Also upgraded the prop to a CNC 32mm x 1.7. Getting about 10 mins run time and a maximum speed of 48mph with the mods. Batteries need to be as far forward as possible and drive needs to be trimmed so it is slightly down. Remove the drive shaft and grease after every run, also add a few drops of oil to the oil fitting as this keeps the strut bushing lubricated. This is one fast well built boat.

Great boat. Run well the very first time. It only needs just a few minor tweaks otherwise well worth the money
