I don't know if i had a bad unit, but mine is very noisy, didn't center well, has an "ok" response, or very slow, it depends... I wanted to mount it to my rudder, but i don't want to crash because of a stupid servo. Now it will go where it belongs: Trashcan! I bought it because of the good reviews, and the word "precision" on the title, really regret my choise...received today.
1. 21 teeth((( doesn't match to picture at all - why should I pay 12usd for 21teeth if cs929 or hk939 cost almost twice less.
2. second gear after motor made of plastic , other aluminium((Just got four of these, casing has changed (for the worst, unlike in the sample shown.)Mounting tabs are similar to cheap corona ds939 /ds929. with angular support, thin hollow plastic.Comes with rubber grommets/metal inserts.Gears has alot more slop than previous.Performs ok, Hk 922MG / Hk 933MG are better choices for use with 450 pro helies.I have ordered 14 of these !
First thing, they are all working. But two of them are unable to stabilise correctly at some positions (the motor is always buzzing), so I consider that I only have 12 of them which are usable, because those two buzzing servos will probably burn quickly if used.
All servos have quite differents moving speed.
One of all is going very very fast.
Two are going very slow.
All others are going normally.
The output shaft is very thick, that's something we want :)
If you need two working and well matched servos, buy four of these, one for spare parts, one will be faster or slower than the others, and the two remaing will be matched.
If you need three working servos, and two of them matched, buy five.very good quality servo works without problems in my lightflyer planes precise and strong. doesn't jitter or glitches so for me its perfect.this is great servo, ihave it in a swing wing f14 and it move the wings with authorityBillig og slarkete, er svake oxo. Kjp noen andre.Today I check again all my servos and found one servo (pitch servo) defected. I have been hovering about six time only, ~5 min every testing and not even fly yet. I was not confident to fly my heli HK_450 because I noticed that the ESC TR_P30A got hot and now already dead.Good servo and tight fit to the servo slot. The wire just long enough to reach the receiver.I have made some torque tests with two of these servos and the result is not good.
Only 0.5Kg/cm under 4.5v for eatch sevo so be careful !
The zero is good with no tremulus.
I prefer for my PIX20 the SSV 9314MG (1.5Kg without problems under 4.5V) -
