Using a screw cuts the plastic on the inside of the wheel hub. This elimintes that problem, and gives a very smooth running wheel too

These are axles suitable for a .40 to .60 size plane. The axle is very stiff and appears to be of high quality. I should of looked at the picture more closely. The problem is they are only axles. There is no nut included to hold them on so you will have to hunt those down separately.

These are very well made, and US market wheels with axle hole 5/32" fit very well. However, that pretty little rounded shoulder doesn't give any place to grab the axel when the nyloc nut (tap) is installed. I had to hold it by gripping the axle itself with pliers, which makes scratches and burrs.

Does anyone know why these are sold in packs of 5. These would typically be used for undercarriage/A-frame landing struts and those always have an even number of wheels.
