The famous T-28 Trojan is a piston-engined military trainer aircraft that was used by the United States Air Force and U.S. Navy beginning in the 1950s. After becoming adopted as a primary trainer by the USAF, the United States Navy and Marine Corps adopted it as well. Although the Air Force phased out the aircraft out of primary pilot training by the early 1960s, continuing use only for limited training of special operations aircrews and for primary training of select foreign military personnel, the aircraft continued to be used as a primary trainer by the Navy (and by default, the Marine Corps and Coast Guard) well into the early 1980s.
This beautiful scale T-28 Trojan comes in a realistic finish and a nicely shaped, true-scale outline that looks just like the real thing! Featuring a built-up wing/tail section and factory covered with highly detailed, printed covering film, this T-28 will be a real looker at your favorite flying site. All the small details are printed on the film to enhance the scale feel, making this model a great choice for the scale enthusiast. The Trojan is also a scale warbird of outstanding performance. The dihedral wing design allows excellent stability in the air. This results in very smooth flight characteristics as you would expect from a Trojan!
To complete this model you will require 4 x standard servos, a 35 size brushless motor and ESC. The large internal canopy area also allows for a wide choice of lipoly batteries ranging from 4~5S.
This is a fantastic value for money composite warbird that will give hours of fun at your favorite local flying site. If you're interested in highly detailed composite warbirds at a great price, this one is for you!
