This great looking T-28 is a good size and courtesy of it's tricycle landing gear, should be able to handle almost any strip.

Being made from EPO, this T-28 tough and Plug N Fly means a simple, quick assembly is guaranteed, especially as the motor, ESC, servo's, lights and retracts are all pre-fitted. The Trojan is also very practical, it features a 2pc removable wing and despite it's generous size, only requires a 2200mAh 3s lipoly. The model does not have flaps but the hinge and servo pockets are pre-moulded for those wanting to convert it.

This is a great looking model that is aerobatic capable and will be just as happy performing as a sport plane as it will a scale model, tough, practical, well equipped and cheap to put in the air, the ideal all rounder!

Excellent value for price.

One thing to note, the navigation lights are not connected to anything, so don't work. Not a worry for me but if you want them to work you will need extra parts. Should be noted on site so people know. Assembles easily and looks great. Can't wait to test fly.

Received the T28 OK but there were several dents on the top of the port wing and on the canopy plug and also where the tailplane butts against the fuselage. This was dissapointing as it is obvious this damage was done at the factory and not due to handling by HK as the packaging was undamaged.
The flap hinges: one was assembled with one half upside down and another had no screw in it.
The flap rods are barely long enough, could do with another 5mm in length.
One blade on the prop was bent and I had to put pressure on it to straighten it. Just sloppy QC from the factory and it just takes the shine off a new aircraft.

I had the plane sitting around for a week but today i finally got up the courage to fly it. I was a little worried about crashing a really nice plane but I really didn't need to be, it flew like it was on rails it only needed minor trim adjustment and was surprisingly stable even in some gusty wind.
Like everyone else said it is a little under powered I recon I might try a bigger prop before I would go for a 4s. The little prop that is on there hardly puts much load on the motor but for now It is probably fast enough to get a good feel for flying the plane.
Very happy :)

What a great plane. This is my third T28 A big model,a small model and this one in the middle. A real breeze to put together, everything actually fitted everything else. No trimming foam or forcing required. When I finished her I just sat there in awe of the great looks. I'm a T28 fanatic I guess and HK's up market model is next. I might get to fly one once I get out of this bed. I have as many as she who must be obeyed hanging in my bedroom and the rest adorning the rumpus room. What would I do without HK? If they keep bringing out planes like this I'm going to have to figure out better reasons for buying "just one more"

Arrived quickly and in good condition and well packed by HK AUS.

Assembly required a few tricks learnt from prior experience.

eg. the screws supplied to attach the wings to the fuselage were too short and thin. So I redrilled the holes in the plastic screw ins to take larger and stronger screws.

Overall the model quality is better than average and great value from HK AUS.

Flying performance is as expected being a real trainer plane. I graduated to this Trojan from beginner aircraft and it is stable and as nippy as you like to set the controls. I have bought a second one as I wrote off the first one into a power pole. :(

THis is my very first airplane coming from helicopters, I was very surprised and impressed to find out how easy to fly this plane.

Very stable and friendly, a bit underpowered on 3S. I suggest 4S but do not go full throttle longer than 25seconds.

I love this plane!

Happy Flying!
