I bought this motor a year Ago, It is still in laying around in my drawer and haven't used it yet. I scratch build foam models in my garage, but was always building small ones relatively successfully. I am thinking of going big this time and use this motor in my upcoming designs. I think it will have ample power to drive a foam model. Wish me luck....

I love this motor. I have it on my HK Extra 260 (AUW 1700g). Was running it on a 3S 2200mah batt with 13X8 prop. Performance was very good, but not outstanding. I swapped out the 3S batt for a 4S 2200mah batt and the difference was astounding. Smooth transition from slow to fast flight speeds and unlimited vertical on demand. Accidentally rolled a landing into a soccer goal and of course the motor found the metal corner post. Loud clang ... was sure I had ruined the motor or at least bent the shaft. Nope .... this motor is tough as nails. Caved in the motor mount which was easily fixed, but the motor was in perfect working order. Highly recommended!!!

I bought 8 motors to model iam building. I treed the motor with setup of zippy 6s1p 5000mah SBEC turnigy 85A and prop of 13X8 3 blade eventually made test of static thrust with limitation to 500watt and after less than 10 minute the motor jest burn it is the second motor that it is happened.
i think the spec of the manufacture is not supporting the product!!!

Just mounted the motor to my MPX Acromaster.
With 12x6 APC elektro prop and 3s2650 Lipo. With this setup im using only 1/2 throttle.
Good motor for this price.

Great motor, had this in a Aeromax Screamer 40, controlled with a
Turnigy TZ-85A ESC (the best controller) and powered with a Turnigy 3000 6s 30-40C lipo. 13x8E apc prop. flying time 15 min pattern, 9min flat out. .Have more than 50 flights and controller or motor never gets more than warm.
you cant go wrong putting this in any light weight 40 size plane..

This has been a great running motor so far. Have been running it on 2200mah 3S, but don't think I'm seeing the full power of the motor yet. Will either bump up to 3000mah or 2200mah 4S.

Great Motor and smooth.
Motor fitted to a wingman trainer, flying weight 1700 grams. 11x10 master screw, 60 amp esc and 4 cell 3300mah. Pulls 33amps and 483w.
Have flown upto 20mins on this set up and could have gone longer. Didnt need full throttle.
