have used this motor for mardave gt12 with a 1s lipo and the turnigy 1s esc .. been racing for a few months now and really have not seen a performance difference between this and the more expensive motors .

I use it with HK X-Car 45A ESC and it works perfect with my 1/10 monster! Good enough for the money!

Overall a good little motor it looks a bit different as in the picture but who cares what it looks like. I got two one for my losi xxx-t and one for my brothers losi xxx-s. these are two completely different cars but it works good in both. And what a noise, it sounds like something out of a science fiction movie.

Tested on my 1/10 Monster Truck with 17T pinion and 2S LiPo , got max 40 Amps and was extremely strong and cool although i run it for more than 10 mins full throttle ... ! Very good motor , now for reliability , time will show ...

hello

i fitted this on a reely blaze /ZD racing truggy 1/10 with the 35a ESC but you shout keep an eye as it is over drawing the amps and comes into safe mode reely should be used with a min 45 a ESC , beside that reely happy with this motor good torque and speed and a real cheap price, also tried it on a losi strike with a 60a ESC and smmoth run good power

Motor lasted about 1 minute on 3s, sent back for warranty about 4 months ago, HK say they are still checking it out.

There is NO such thing as HK warranty, they just stall off untill you go away!

it is very powerful motor but at my second run motor was burn because of the sensors doesn't work perfectly. don't buy it with sensored esc. if you want to buy it for the price choose sensorless esc.

Great motor! Running on a 1/10 Ultima ST (converted from nitro). Motor runs reasonable temperature after hard usage. Excellent quality NSK (Japanese) bearings. Received a good quality protected sensor wire. Super smooth with sensored ESC! Can't beat the price! Might even throw this motor in a proper B4.1 kit when I decide to leave my beater behind. For best reliability and smoothness, oil the bearings before first use, including removing the rear cover to access the rear bearing.
