This superb Turboraven really looks the part and is something quite different from the usual sport models and 3D models!

The construction of this ARF is first class, being both strong and light, the covering is also excellent and has been expertly applied. The glassfiber cowl and wheel pants have a deep gloss paint finish and the comprehensive, quality hardware package compliments the quality of the airframe. The 2 pc plug in wing and horizontal stabilizer is ideal for easy transportation and field assembly and mounts onto a CF tube. Rudder is pull/pull for precision and high quality turnbuckle control rods with ball links are used for the other control surfaces, in addition, servo horns extensions are included and for the final touch, the Turboraven features full CF under-carriage!

The Turboraven is a high performance aerobatic model and regardless of EP or IC power, this is a model that the RC pilot will never tire of, capable of high speed with the right set up, combined with an excellent aerobatic ability, this is a great looking, practical every-day sport model that will really stand out at your airfield!

Over all this is a nice model. I give it 4 stars only because they used CA hinges and a plane this size needed better hinges like robart and more of them. I used 5 Robart hinges on each aileron, 4 Robarts on each elevator and 4 robarts on the rudder. I tink the hardware was on the light side for this plane so I used dubro 4 -40 all around. I moved the tail servo's to a servo tray I made near the wing tube and save 1 lb of weight. I have an EME 35cc gas engine and it fit like a glove. The CG is on the wing Tube. I have a Turnigy 19x8 prop and I hope to do the maiden this weekend. Here is a like to my build thread. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/arf-rtf-75/11612939-hk-turbo-raven-30cc.html

Cowl is very narrow. You need a rear exhaust engine or you will have to cut a large piece out of the side of the cowl, even with a pitts muffler.

I maidend my Raven about 2 days ago.
It flys pretty well with DLA32 and Pefa Exhaust with a Metts 18x10 turning about 7500.
Only the CG seems to be too far in front! Manzal says 130mm - we measured about 170mm.
I set it to about 140-145mm and its still a bit noseheavy.

But thats only my like - with 130 you will be really safe ;)

I like that bird :)
