The TURNIGY 1:4 scale gokart is a real blast to drive, with it's low center of gravity and ultra sticky TruRubber* tyres which keep the kart turning sharply, while the non differential rear tyres lay rubber on each corner!

The entire floor pan is made of 4mm alloy with very little suspension travel at the rear giving the gokart very realistic handling.

You will need a 35A ESC, an inrunner motor around 3900Kv, a tansmitter and receiver and 2S LiPo battery.

Stickers are included, but the driver is unpainted so you can create your own race livery on the driver.

Awesome value for a lot of car. I have 2 matched cars for duking it out with my brothers and buddies. This car goes like crazy. Other than a few loose screws the build quality was very good.

You can see my video of this go kart at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5QFfJ0OOAE

I enjoy the challenge of driving it and pushing it to its limits. The driver figure adds a lot of detail and makes it interesting to drive. I've put a few hours of run time on it so far and haven't had any problems. During the initial unboxing I had to fix and adjust a few things on the chassis, but overall I'm pretty happy with the purchase.

PLEASE READ THIS! I found a rather disconcerting design flaw in the kart. I took the motor mount apart (off the kart) to check how I could somehow fabricate a new universal motor mount (meaning it will take in either a 380 or 540 size motor (2-in-1) . . . as I was inspecting the face plate where the motor mounts up - I found a "step" in the bottom part. I uploaded the image in the "FILES" for you to see. If the image doesn't show, just unscrew your motor and check if indeed your kart has this "step" as I refer to it.
I am assuming that this goes with all 3 versions of the kart offered here, meaning, all karts have this design flaw.
This "flaw" will cause premature wear (I may be wrong but common sense dictates otherwise) as the motor is mounted in a slight downward angle and goes against the correct spur to pinion meshing. I assume that this also causes a slight binding and makes the motor work a few percentage harder.
I do hope HK reads this and corrects this design flaw.
Wether you agree with me or not, you can't say nobody informed you.

Stig jr. needs to go back to Kadet Class and stop messing arund with older brothers Formula Kart. Seriously! He's too small which explains why he can't rech the pedals and slumped forward from trying to reach the wheel. Hope can find a new driver for it.
The side pods are over-extended and too short for my liking . . need to fix that!
The rear live axle is also too wide. Will try o hav a machine sjop d some cutting of th axle.

Overall? it's okay, cosidering it's price. Though shipping killed me at customs. Hope thay can be able to send it via regular air mail

I have 3 of these for the small price i figured get a spare one just for parts, i used the HK donkey 4200kv motor on 1600mah 3s with trackstar 60a ESC stupid fast cannot get to top speed just overpowers the tyres and spins out. tyres are nice and sticky. Surprisingly very strong i pictured hitting the kerb and bye bye but no has taken some very good hits and survived

4.5 for quality because of a over tightened screw on the back bumper.
I plan to use a 1600-2000kv motor so i get 25-30km/h of usable speed.
The gearbox is alloy and the pinion gear fits a 3.17mm shaft.
The stickers are packed flat not rolled up like with some other models.
