Strong Motor!

It is being used in a Funcub.

13X6 Prop. 500 Watts Max Power

125 Mah Cruise Power will allow 20 minute flight times on a 3300 Mah Lipo.

lo voy a montar con una 13x6 en el mentor de multiplex, ahora mismo lo tengo con el mismo pero de 1450 vueltas y se va a un consumo de 80 amperios, por lo que reduciremos las vueltas para usar un variador de 60

Most HK items I bought in past have been good. But this motor was really bad. Already at the initial bench test one magnet came loose. I glued it back. Next I took it for a flight and the motor run just fine for about 4 minutes. Then 2 more magnets were loose. I glued them back and tried it again. This time less then a minute and with 3 loose magnets. One of the loose magnets cracked when trying to repair the motor for the 3rd time. Total runtime less then 5 minutes. Completely useless.

But I must admit that it was running smooth, quite, cool and with plenty of power the few minutes it was working. It was well balanced. Its a pity the build quality is so miserable, because otherwise it would have been a perfect fit for my airplane.

Really, really good motor for the price. This thing far outperforms Hacker and Hyperion motors of similar size that I own. I have this motor in a Reichard Variant III Hotliner, and it will go straight up like it's shot from a slingshot!

Had mine up for maiden in a 3DHS Slick 51 on 4S 2650mAh 30C and 13x6.5 APC-E at sea level, consumes 58A peak. In 3D flight, motor comes down warm to the touch in ~60*F ambient morning flight, clear skies / sunlight.

On maiden with this motor, the motor siezed. Took it out of the plane, found the Bell is off center enough that the magnets rub on the stator. Had a magnet let go in flight, which locked up the motor, most likely from the rubbing. Magnet gluing is repairable, an off center bell is not. Not happy with the quality here.

Btw: turnigy 4s 2650mah 30-40c batt on a MAS 11x9 prop consumes 42A peak at WOT at sea level.

Runs smooth and sounds good. Only a few flights on it but seems like a good strong motor. I always check the magnets are glued properly now on these cheap motors before using them and this one seems very well done.

Bought it on the advertised weight and found it to weigh 205 grams with the x-mount fitted , so the motor ended up being useless to me for the purpose

very good motor. If you go fly on 3s must be a 13/8 propeller for trust 3000, but if you go on on 4s 12/6 is the best option, and in 5s 10/8 will be graet. Many power with this motor I think this is more equilibrat than 1500KV.
