I am a long time supporter of Turnigy motors and this one leaves nothing to be surprised about. I use it in a HK450Pro TT with a 13t pinion on 4S 2200's. Hover @ 2800 rpm Head speed pulls 9.0 amps. Have gotten 6 minutes of hover time so far and motor is cool to the touch. Built in Fan does a great job at cooling this motor. Look forward to flippin the chopper around and seeing how this motor holds up. I run a Castle ICE 50 ESC in fixed rpm Governoe mode and it runs very smooth and has no lag when pith bumped to full collective @ 10deg!!

Great motor. Absolutely makes the radjet scream. 100 mph even on 3s with zippy 25c 2200 mah with 5x5 prop, 132 mph on repeated passes on zippy 20c 2200 mah 4s with 4.75x4.75 prop on a prop saver. Comes down hot but not terribly so. Used a hobbyking 60 amp esc. Reversing the shaft is an easy task.

Awsome 4s 450 motor. 2200 mah 40c 4s, trust 55 amp esc, 13t pinion 85pcnt flat curve. Barely warm after flight. Much better than the turnigy 2218 motors. 2223 motors are very simaler to scorpion 2221- motors. Always check the set screws!!! im stocking up!!

I have tried that motor in a Trex 450 with Turnigy 4s 2200mAh 40-50C and a 10T pinion and it goes ok, but a bit poor in rpm (just get 2400rpm headspeed). I want to try with a 11T pinion that it gets 2800rpm that is ok.
The duration of the battery is awesome, over 12 minutes with the battery totally cold!!!
I plan to use with a 1800mAh or 1600mAh battery in order to decrease the weight and get more agility in the heli with a time of 7-8 minutos to fly.

Great little motor... It's a perfect fit on a FunJet, it has the same can size as the inrunner that Multiplex provides in their power pack (only it's about 90 cheaper). On a 4S with a 4.75 x 4.75 we got it up to around 500 watts, with a 3S it's around 350. Haven't gotten to really open it up in flight yet, but the one flight we've had so far it's quite a screamer. Very smooth running...

good motor for a 450 but with a 4s setup. be careful that it requires an esc larger than 50A.This motor is LARGE in size but works well over all .
