I have 4 of these on a 30" Quad. They each swing a 10" prop. Using 4 red brick 50A ESC's and a 3S-3000 Mah pack, the performance is good.

I had to reverse the motor shafts by doing a little fab, but not too difficult.

I used no "X" motor mounts, just direct bolted them on.

Bought for a 450 on 6s with 350mm hole to tip blades. Motor spun up smooth under no load, quality looks good. Just posting this to reserve space since HK locks u out after 45 days. Full review pending.

Ok, this is my setup: HK450GT, Flymentor stabilizer, 6s 1300mah nanotech 35-70c, this motor on a 12t pinion, 100a esc borrowed from my HK600, 88pcnt idle-up gives 3100 headspeed. 12pcnt pitch gives a very nice rate of climb without bogging. Hovered for about five mins with regular full pitch pumps, came down with 3.85v per cell after five mins. Temperatures of battery esc and motor were near cold, its five pm so its about 18 outside. I can say for sure that this motor has no problems with 6s and will handle 3d easily.

I ran this motor in my HK450GT on 6s 1300mah nanotech 35-70c battery, set gov to 75pcnt 11 tooth pinion. Got 3100 headspeed hovered for 5 mins with a few pitch pumps needs to have 12t pinion for better performance. The temps when it came down were battery 31c esc 27c motor 29c. Today is about 25 so a little above ambient. This motor loves 6s and has no issues its kv perfect for the 450 on 6s and its so efficient, I will try with 12t and post results.

Good motor for the money, with a 40A esc on 3S and 7-8" prop it pulls larger foamies (epo, solidpor, elapor etc.) well.

Flew this one in a scorpion with aeronaut 8X6 350 W, was already warm after 3S 1800 mAh runtime of 6 min.

4S 1800 mAh killed it

Type your review here.

Try to include as much data as possible.

I tried to run this motor with 8 X 4 folding prop from HK, Esky 25Ah ESC on 3S Zippy flightmax 3000mAh 20C, in an old 2 meter glider on the ground for less then 10 seconds at 90 of the throtle then reduced the throtle to 0 again to 90 and did it 3 to 4 times and i could smell something burning, motor was extremely hot, ESC and battery were cool. Stopped everything, let the motor cool down and tried 7 X 5 prop at full throtle and no problem. Motor is running great. Don't try to run a propeller larger then 7 X 5 or you will fry the motor. This is the first time i got Turnigy motor which i am not satisfied with. I have got more then 10 Turnigy motors of different sizes and i am MORE THEN HAPPY with all of them. Probably tough luck.
