The first 15 flights were good, but right away noticed a difference with the 3550kv motor that this one replaced. ESC is Rotostar 40 amp (no change in settings for the the teo motors). The 3550kv was more responsive. I thought maybe because I'm using a 3S 2200mah and this motor is rated for 4S while the 3550kv motor is rated for 3S so I thought I'm not getting the full speed of this 3800kv motor. Anyways, a problem developed of "wow-wing" where on pitch pumps the spool up time began to increase while the RPMs on negative pitch began to get lower and lower. I even tamed the pitch curve to make it less aggressive but no help. The problem got worse and worse. I wound up putting back in the 3550kv motor and man no more sluggish performance.
Fitted well in hk450 ccpm v2 with a 11t pinion. Runs cool on 3s 2200 20c, 40amp Turnigy Super Brain ESC. A big improvement on E-Flight 320H motor that was fitted.
Decent motor. Spins a little rough compared to an Align, but for the price this is pretty good. I've used the 250 and 450 Assault motors and they are good enough for the casual flyer. No added vibrations and no shaft play.
Bad body Balancing, bad sound when rotated by hand, not enough power but consume more amps.

but looks good shape with horizontal line, come with complete connectors and screw, good cooling, come with NMB Bearing (Not too sure)

for me, enough buy 2 units and will not buy again. will test on 4S with 10T pinion and see the power
