While I've only just placed the order for one of these and the programmable 6 model version I'm really happy to see the TX being powered by the 4.8v system rather than the traditional 9.6v. The radios apparently work on around 5 volts (so I read) and the extra power is just turned into heat. Supposedly this latest configuration will give exceptional operating times, we'll see.

Will be back with a report on them when to hand and in use.
