High torque inrunner, excellent for running propellers without needing a gearbox.
The unique stator design creates a low current and high torque motor great for outrunner replacements and much more efficient than inrunners of the same size.

Bon moteur puissant ,mais demande un bon rglage du timing sur l'esc.
A recommander pour moto-planeur de plus de 2 mtres d'envergure.Avec 12x6 propeller, les montes sont fantastiques.

Nice built and very powerful motor ! I will use it in a boat on 5 cell battery lipo! Very silence motor BUT No 36 mm cooling jacket will fit ! i most build one custom for him! The one i got from HK is to long and 2mm to tight!

I put 2 of these motors in a custom built scale model boat driving two 2in 3 blade propellers (directly connected). Did a test run and so far am impressed with the power these motors can deliver. they did get fairly warm, but had no problems driving boat propellers. They seem to be a good alternative to gearing down a faster motor.

Worked great in my Siren for about 10 flights.

When I moved the motor, esc, and prop to another glider (2.5 meter full house), one with less airflow to the motor, it burned out on the first flight. BTW, while there is less inlet air on the 2.5m ship, there is a lot more room in the motor bay, so I expected sufficient circulation with the impeller.

Maximum current was about 35 amps (14x8 folder with a 3cell 20c 2200mah).

Yes, I probably should have improved the airflow, but it was well below rated current of 50 amps, and with the impeller (one of the main reasons I bought it as the airflow in a Siren is not so great, and a 36mm inrunner barely fits), I expected it to be somewhat more resistant to heat.

Bottom line is it's a nice motor, but don't rely on the impeller as a substitute for good airflow to cool it.

It was about $10 cheaper when I bought it, or I'd give it a higher rating for value - which is based on the current price.

"Weight: 108g" - this is a lie

Real weight is 162g.

"Your review was too short." - I have nothing more to say
