Turnigy SK3 Motors are the next leap forward in motor quality and design. We instructed the engineers to source the best quality magnets, bearings and materials available to them and develop a motor that would not only rival, but surpass the quality of many leading motor manufactures on the market today.

The result is an efficient, high caliber motor using quality double shielded bearings, sintered Neodymium magnets and a string wound stator ensuring an accurate and consistent winding each and every time.

The Turnigy SK3 motors are suited to modelers who are seeking a quality brushless motor without compromise.

Note: This version has a flush length shaft - ideal for small Quadracopter projects! Easy to mount in Quad frames. Please refer to images.

Nice engine, my standard engine for light twin ESA/EPA planes. I use two one with a 7x5APC and a 3S 2200mAh Zippy compact for 7 minutes at full throttle

These are very good motors. They run smooth and efficient with 8045 SF props on my SK450 quadcopter. I like how 3mm bullet plugs come pre-soldered! The best thing about these motors is that they only draw a max of 8 Amps! You only need 10A ESCs, but I use 15A multistar ESCs for extra safety (and they come with 3mm bullets). All in all a very good motor!

Beginners mistake. Ran these with a 30A turnigy plush speed controller, so they got mighty hot. Will order some 10A which look more suitable according to pls comments. Using a kk2.0 board, which needed firmware upgrade before the motors ran in all at once. Smooth motor. Good power on my dead cat - although not sure how it will run with 10A speed controllers. One downside, the 3 small screws (M1.5 hex)!for the prop mount are weak. Snapped some from over tightening, then I learnt my lesson, but the some snapped after one crash, and another whilst in flight. Recommend you replace these with strong bolts. Bullet connectors are 3.5mm, but I had to first give them a squeeze with needle tip pliers to get them to fit the gold connectors I purchased.

My favourite motors for F330 frames. Real smooth and with 3S 25Cplus LiPOs they have nice punch with 8045 props.

Good motor. I bough 5 for a quad, one is kind stuck, so I left it for a later replace if needed. It has good performance with 8x4.5 and I got over 12 mins flight with a 800g quad (33cm frame). Although all the motors seems slightly 'lose' on the bearings since I can move it side ways.

Using these with the hobbyking blue 12a esc, f330 frame and kk2 with a 3s lipo. Nothing to complain about. Bought 5, one as a spare, had a few good crashes and these are still going like new. Only negative is these should come with lock nuts as I had a prop fly off, lucky it hadn't lifted of the ground yet.
