Turnigy SK3 Motors are the next leap forward in motor quality and design. We instructed the engineers to source the best quality magnets, bearings and materials available to them and develop a motor that would not only rival but surpasses the quality of many leading motor manufacturers on the market today.
The result is an efficient, high caliber motor using quality double shielded bearings, sintered Neodymium magnets and a string wound stator ensuring an accurate and consistent winding each and every time.
The Turnigy SK3 motors are suited to modelers who are seeking a qualitymotor without compromise.

Installed on my Sebart Sukhoi 50E with APC 17x8 makes she fly like a beast. Loads of power and average consumption. Only pay attention using too much throttle because you can easily damage the structure of the plane stressing it doing many high alpha maneuvers. Maybe it's a bit more powerful than his Hacker counterpart, but who cares :)Very happy with this motor , I have it in my HK Nemesis 1450 .
Turnigy 100 d/lux - 6600mah - 6s - 50c ... Prop 18X12 ... 5 kg AUW
It hammers at 80amps and 1500 watts ... Yes thats 18x12 prop ... ;)
Considering another one now for my Seagull Snafu P-47 ... Which is about same
Just received my second one. Great power, awesome value. Have to comment on how quickly the motor arrived from Global warehouse: I used DHL option and it came in three days!
Exceeded expectations.Very happy with this motor (I've bought two so far). Note: the prop adaptor provided with motor (the one that's attached with three screws) has a smooth surface. I found it too slippery for my (plastic) spinner and I was unable to tighten the prop nut. I replaced the adaptor with another (eFlite) and the motor otherwise works great.great motor. using 3 of them.
Looks good.
However the shaft sticking out the one end was bent - very small amount, and almost not noticeable when just running the motor up by itself. But enough to cause massive vibration once I connected the 16x8 prop to it. During run-up test, the collett prop shaft got bent from the vibration. When I put my finger on the shaft, i could feel the bend when it was rotating with no collett and no prop. If you are wondering, my prop was balanced prior to test, as was the prop cone etc.
I had to modify the motor mount to mount the motor the other way around and use the other end with the bolt-on prop hub. That end is fine.
All in all, product shipped defective.
Only reason I have not had to deal with the massive hassle of a return, is because I can still use it (with the other end - hub mount).
However, i just tried to order a new accessory kit (collett etc) and a spare shaft: both on back-order. ugh!I have this motor in my Chris Foss Wots-Wot which weighs around 3.2kg (lbs) with a 14x7 prop 60A esc and 5s 5000mAh. It is very powerful and quite economic - 10 minute flights with 50pcnt power left. Does aerobatics fine. It is a bit slow though - I bought it because there were no higher kv motors available. But it is still very good value. I may swop it out when the faster ones come back in stock.I have used this to fit in my balsa/ply Wots-Wot electric. Its a great motor - plenty of power and runs well. Seems a quality product in terms of manufacture. The WW spec is for a 700kv motor but this is all I could get at HobbyKing UK. I tried it with a selection of props and its worth checking which is best - the watt meter told me 13x6.5 gave sufficient power. Recommended.Garbage motor, garbage bearings, 2 flights and bearings destroyed, the worst motor I ever purchased.
