Turnigy SK3 Motors are the next leap forward in motor quality and design. We instructed the engineers to source the best quality magnets, bearings and materials available to them and develop a motor that would not only rival but surpasses the quality of many leading motor manufacturers on the market today.
The result is an efficient, high-caliber motor using quality double shielded bearings, sintered Neodymium magnets and a string wound stator ensuring an accurate and consistent winding each and every time.
The Turnigy SK3 motors are suited to modelers who are seeking a quality brushless motor without compromise.

I installed this motor in the new 30% RV-4 from Hangar 9. Used AeroStar Advance 150A HV (6~12S) Brushless ESC (Opto) and YEP 20A HV (2~12S) SBEC. Turnigy 19x10 cherry wood prop. Battery power is two Heavy Duty 6S 5000mah 60C Lipos in series.
Flight times with throttle management of 9 to 10 minutes. Motor handles all that I can throw at it and never gets hot.I am using this motor in a 1/3 scale Balsa USA low wing Fly Baby. I have not done any tests yet but have a few flights on it so far. 12s 5000mAh on 20x10 prop has plenty of power. Going to get two more for a Ziroli Beech D18 if it holds up well after I get many more flights logged in with it.
https://youtu.be/7EygKIy2pccperfect for electric skateboards, good torque and very sturdy. over 300km of riding now and the motor is holding up fine.https://youtu.be/u_OtD5EA01Q
I have 3 of these. My buddy also uses the same. Over 1k flights so far and rock solid. We use it at 4000watts on a daily basis. I have pushed to 4500watts with a 22X10 as well and also was OK.
I used two of them on an electric mountainboard for a year now. Together with the X-Car Beast 150A ESC.
On 5S I only use like 1500W of the power it can give. Still gives me 3KW power in total which is plenty.
Modified with hall sensors for smoother acceleration and braking, works like a charm.
There are three screws on the side, one of my motors came with a fourth screw. Inside the motor attracted by the magnets near the windings. Must have fallen in there during manufacturing.High quality motor! the package was destroyed but luckily the motor didnt break.motore formidabile!! provato sia in 10S che in 12S che in 14S...
migliore resa in 12S con elica 18X12 APC 80Ah massimo assorbimento.
una BOMBA!! io ci ho abbinato un HV esc da 120Ah della turnigy e non si scalda neanche!Prone to internal shorts. Destroyed mine and a friend's models. My Motor is very Good. Have a lot of power on 10S in the Silck 540 with a Graupner E Prop 22x12 Temperatur is OK, absolute 82A nice Motor i love itHere below my latest test with this motor under 10s:
20x12 - 70A - 2555W - 6700RPM - Thrust 9,5kg
21x12 - 86A - 3105W - 6300RPM - Thrust 10,5kg
22x10 - 97A - 3496W - 6000RPM - Thrust 12kg
22x12 - 116A - 3996W - 5800RPM - Thrust 12kg (weighter out of range)
On my 25pcnt SBACH of 6kg, the best in-flight performance are optained by using 21x12 prop. 7 min of IMAC style flight with Zippy Compact 5800 25C batteries.
Also note that this motor weighs 912gr with the connectors.
