    The Turnigy Aerostar outrunners are designed with one thing in mind - maximising performance! They feature high-end 45SH magnets, high quality NMB bearings, custom motor mount and all motors are precision balanced for smooth running.

    The 4340-720 includes a bolt on prop adapter, fitted 3.5mm male connectors and has a built in aluminium mount for quick and easy installation onto your airframe, also supplied is a bolt on X mount for mounting to aircraft front formers etc. These motors are supplied inside a nice foam lined Aerostar metal box.

    I recently bought this motor because I need 800 Watts for my Great Planes RV-4 weighing 2.9 KGS and I want to fly it on 4 cells.
    PROBLEM !
    With a Turnigy light wood propeller 13x6 I only get 500 Watts. I use the HobbyKing 70A ESC 4A UBEC in combination with this motor.
    SOLUTION !
    I programmed the ESC as follows:
    Angle of entrance = HIGH
    PMW frequency of motor = 16K
    Propeller = Turnigy light wood propeller 14x8
    With full power I get 950 Watts and the motor pulls 68 Amps
    Now I can't wait to get the RV-4 flying.
    I will certainly buy the same motor for my Great Planes Ultimate Biplane.
