This tester needs improvement

I use nothing but digital servos. This tester will not function at all for me. It works for about 1/2 second and quits working. Took it apart and see that the 5 volts for servo power is provided by a 78m05 SMT 3 terminal regulator. It is only a lousy 0.5 amp device. There is no way this thing can power a digital servo with its higher current demands. I have some full size ones that need 7 amps, peak! That's why this tester fails to function if a servo is plugged in and this tester has to power the servo. I will remove the regulator and try this tester and servo powered directly from 5 volts only to see if I can salvage any usage at all for my servos. Otherwise, buy a tester that uses a 4/5 cell pack to power it or the BEC. Maybe if all you have are 9g analog servos, it might work just fine. Yes, I am an electrical engineer.

this is a great tester, when you have an intermittend working servo, this tester wil pick it up in the speed test

I looked around for a servo tester. This one fits the bill and works as advertised. Excellent quality, even the instructions are good. This is the same as the GT Power rebranded as Turnigy. Excellent 5 Stars.

J tive um muito bom, que media a velocidade corretamente o nico problema era que o display apagava as vezes. Comprei outro pra ver se tinham resolvido o problema, mas piorou, agora nem mede a velocidade corretamente, pra mim ficou praticamente inutilizvel.

Working very well. has problem with servo speed.. try 2-4 times than get result... not working every time... it is really use full device in any case. especially for endurance test

Good product but I have some minor issue with WP mode, navigating thru menus didnt work on mine but if Rx is plugged in and the servo tester is then powered on it goes to WP measuring.

keine Beschreibung dabei nur Kurzerklaerung auf der Rueckseite der Schachtel in engl. Sprache

funktioniert einfach und gut, man kommt mit der 2-zeiligen Anzeige recht gut zurecht, wenn man weiss worum es geht

bought turnigy analog/digital servo tester
power it up with brandnew 3s zippy series 4000 battery!
worked for 5 minutes! flipped thru settings and after 5 minutes screen turned black!!! frustrating!!!! long wait to get in mail and it lasted 5 minutes!!! no manual mode??????tried new zippy2s battery!same problem!!black screen!! doesn't work any more!!!!

wished you would have let me know about not having manual mode !!I would have bought servo tester that does have manual mode!!!

very frustrated!!
