I use these to replace the stock landing gear in my LX A-10 twin 70mm. The first set had a couple little issues, but HK really came through and gave me a complete replacement set for free. I am completely happy with their customer service, all I can say is awesome!

While I was happy to see this retract set for my LX 70mm A-10, as the white plastic gear it came with was more trouble than its cool looks were worth, I was a bit dismayed that the trunion pin was only 3mm. My experience with other planes of similar weight and size was that 3mm would bent or break on a less-than-perfect landing. Sure enough, the first landing ran off the side of the runway into the grass and bent the nose wheel pin. The second landing came down a bit hard and sheared off one of the main gear. I've since replaced the retracts themselves with 4mm all metal retracts and drilled out the Oleo legs accordingly. I hope this will be the end of bent or sheared gear.
