The wait is finally over and they have arrived. Set them up on the bench to test them out and one would not work, but it was trying to. Removed one of the side plates and found a spacer missing on the gear train. A small piece of air tubing solved the problem and the unit now functions as it should. I recommend removing a side plate and lubing the gear train and also the lead screw as they are going to do a lot of work. Loctite all screws as mine were loose and would have fallen out in flight. This includes the grub screws on the pin that connects the oleo to the retract unit. If these come loose you will have a twist-tract. Not good on the roll out. I mounted mine into a Kyosho 90 size spitfire. A small amount of adjustment was required for a nice fit. I removed the plastic wheel well liners and have sheeted them instead. The gear goes right up inside the wing and makes for a very tidy flush fit. A new set of doors were made and mounted onto the oleos. The stance on the ground is now much better. The aircraft no longer looks like it is about to fall on its face.
There is a small amount of free play in the down locked position. Better machining tolerances would cure this. (Quality control) This is not a fault of Hobby King as these are made by Lander. Overall they are great and will do the job. I will now get a set for my mustang and fit them to it as well.

Looks very nice.

Absolutely max size for nose wheel is 70mm.

Manufactored by RCLander (stamped on the actuators).

Traveltime around 4 sec.

Could use a little shimming in the down position, i think it can be done with some thick teflontape (Would love to post a pic here to explain).

Seems like there are no "jamming-protection", i will try to meassure the stall current if i can.
