Held up to 70 and 80A bursts on 4S for 20 seconds and came back warm, but not hot. The new K-force ESC's are definitely higher quality than the standard turnigy packs

No problem with the planes though, they are less demanding. Very good "super soft" start (I used some Plush 60A and I liked them due to switched BEC etc. But I definitely did not like their "soft" start.

This is a perfect ESC for a 500 size heli. But 3A BEC does not provide sufficient power for the heli servos.

No problem with the planes though, they are less demanding.

Review is based on a Hobbywing Platinum 60A (identical to K-Force 60A) used in a KDS500 II with stock motor with 6s lipos.

Very good "super soft" start (I used some Plush 60A and I liked them due to switched BEC etc. But I definitely did not like their "soft" start.

The governor works. But you have to know the number of magnetic poles of you motor (for timing as well).

Very easy programming with the 2in1 box.
