    Product Description

    MultiStar ESCs are are a quality speed controller at a fantastic price! Designed for simple installation and easy setup these ESCs have proven to offer excellent performance when used in Multi-rotor applications. If your starting out in Multi-rotors and need an easy to install solution that is tested and proven to work with Multi-rotor craft then these speed controllers have you covered.

    These ESC's features a very smooth yet linear throttle response, without sacrificing a rapid, crisp, response to any throttle input. Safety is not forgotten with all Multistar Esc's featuring adjustable battery LVC (set battery type to LiXX to disable LVC), stalled motor (overload) protection, signal loss shut-down and safe arming.

    All Multistar series ESC's come with bullet connectors installed that are suited to the ESC's rated power handling. This allows for plug and play convenience by simply adding the appropriate battery supply splitter (3,4 or 6 ESC) and motor lead extensions from the Multistar modular accessory line. What could be simpler?

    All Multistar ESC's feature an ATmega MCU that opens the door to customizable firmware - for those so inclined! or alternatively a programming card can be used with the installed software for quick and easy setup with the pre-flashed software.

    The ESC's themselves work great out of the box, they cannot be flashed with SIMONK, as they will burn up! (I just tried and it failed with all different types of firmwares). They appear to come with BLHeli pre-installed.

    I purchased one more of these ESCs planning to convert my Tricopter into Quad.
    Unfortunately this product has been changed without any notice.
    These ESCs don't have their original characteristics, parts are physically smaller, different models and their positioning is changed. Totally different layout, I am also unable to find suitable SK firmware. Any significant product changes should be reflected in description and new Product ID release. Absolute disappointment.

    Great little ESC. Very tough so far. Could use a bigger heat sink for full load use but handles it just fine as is.

    Hallo,
    ik gebruik er vier voor de quad X550. Zij functioneren zeer goed en het gasgevoel is zacht.
    Ze blijven enkel warm, nooit heet. Heb er een vijftigtal vluchten mee, zonder problemen. Props 10X4.5 met 3S 2200 en 3000A.

    I bought this ESC to replace a damaged ESC on the PNF SK450 quad copter. This unit has same sticker but is not the same. It is physically smaller and doesn't perform as well as the original controllers. It powers up with less power than the other 3 causing poor flight characteristics.
    Do not think this will replace an SK450 ESC unless you plan to buy 4 and replace them all.

    working good so far, about 18 minutes running 2213-980kv motors with 20amp ESC's and KK2.1.5 on talon carbon fiber quad frame powered by 2200mah 3s 25c..
