    MultiStar ESCs are are a quality speed controller at a fantastic price! Designed for simple installation and easy setup these ESCs have proven to offer excellent performance when used in Multi-rotor applications. If your starting out in Multi-rotors and need an easy to install solution that is tested and proven to work with Multi-rotor craft then these speed controllers have you covered.

    These ESC's features a very smooth yet linear throttle response, without sacrificing a rapid, crisp, response to any throttle input. Safety is not forgotten with all Multistar Esc's featuring adjustable battery LVC (set battery type to LiXX to disable LVC), stalled motor (overload) protection, signal loss shut-down and safe arming.

    All Multistar series ESC's come with bullet connectors installed that are suited to the ESC's rated power handling. This allows for plug and play convenience by simply adding the appropriate battery supply splitter (3,4 or 6 ESC) and motor lead extensions from the Multistar modular accessory line. What could be simpler?

    All Multistar ESC's feature an ATmega MCU that opens the door to customizable firmware - for those so inclined! or alternatively a programming card can be used with the installed software for quick and easy setup with the pre-flashed software.

    The price for this ESC is great and one of the selling factors for me. I have 4 of the 20A multistars on my quad. However the 30A I received in the mail did not live up to my expectations. It was dead from the start. For 9 bucks it really is not worth the hassle of trying to have hobbyking correct the issue so I went ahead and cut the heat shrink and immediately found the failed component. I'll just get a Plush to replace this one on my next order.

    I am a novice helicopter driver. These speed controllers have survived dozens of crashes. Some of these crashes have broken other components on my quad. but the speed controllers keep going. I am very impressed.

    Warning............. if you are going to use these check the voltage output of the bec with a multimeter as I fried 2 kk2.1.5 flight control boards because the esc was putting out 12v instead of the 5.5v its supposed to
    and a mate also received one that was doing the same thaing must be a bad batch going around
    BUT if you get good ones the are an awesome esc

    Nice ESC, very easy to calibrate with APM. One of my ESCs got fried when i accidentily connected to the power distribution in reverse polarity, ended up frying my APM as well. It would've been nice if they could put reverse polarity protection as many car ESCs have, but since it was never specced, i dont blame HK. It was my own mistake for plugging it anyways. But yeah, nice ESC that is also compatible with Simonk firmware, would recommend.

    Find a different ESC I have 3 installed on my tricopterthe and BEC has an 11 volt output and I just fried my second KK2 board before I thought to check the voltage. Only one has an 11V output but they are all coming off and going into the trash.

    My fault for not reading the reviews or thinking of checking the BEC voltage before installing my new controller.

    Stay away for this ESC

    Steer clear of these. I purchased three and all three BEC voltages jumped to 11 volts which burned up my KK2 board and one of my receivers.
