these motors are powerful!!! id stick to 10-4.5 props for the best results... i ran these and 10-5.5 props and they run cold. ive used them with 20amp multistar controllers with 10-4.5s and worked amazing. tons of power and no heat...

these multistar 690kv motors wind up tight with no noticeable clogging run better with 4s battery like turnigy a2 nano bought here at HK like a hand in glove great lift and reliable even after a couple of operator error crashes they work great with 4in1 esc's several buddies are now using same battery motor config with many hours of flight each and not one hick up one group under HK with turnigy forever you'd be making a poor decision to not consider this motor for any flying style or vehicle needs

Awesome motors. Ordered these for a tarot 680 frame with extended arms to about 810mm. Loads of power, no syncing issues when used with xrotor ESCs. I've ran them with 12 and 13 inch propellers without issue. Great motors for the money. I have close to ten hours of flight time on these motors with zero issues.

I ordered six of these motors for a large hexacopter. Using afro 30amp escs and 12x4.5 blades, I had constant sync issues. As soon as any wind kicked up two of the motors were nearly guaranteed to stall and the drone would crash. I replaced them with six SunnySky V2814-11 KV700 Brushless Motors and they have been great.

I am using this motor in my Seawolf submarine. I get about 4h runtime with a 2S 5000mAh LiPo - thats awesome.

I have bought this motor for an x525 and I am very happy with it. It is well balanced and runs very smooth - especially after upgrading the ESC to SimonK. My current setup: AIO with MegapirateNG 3.1.5, BlueSeries ESC 30A flashed to SimonK (latest Firmware), 4S5000 Zippy 25C, 11x4.7 SlowFly Props. The Quad is 1640g, hovering at ~205W total, so 8g/W Efficiency. Probably 12' carbon T-Mount would be even better. So about 18 Min Flying Time with 4200mAH used. Of course plenty of spare power to carry some load.

I have 6 of them on 680 hexacopter. They work very well. Well equilibrated while out of the box. Can fly for 12-18 min on 5800 and 9000mA respectively on FPV (680 FPV system). I run them on 13x6 carbon props.
The only objection is the noise at certain rpm, surely due to bearings, but it is supportable while they are working.
Work fine, hexacopter fly flawlessly, lots of power for gopro FPV.
I recommend them.
I have bought more for a Y6 project.
Thanks HK.

Bought this motor with intentions of a larger quad (550-650), overall the quality and packaging is top notch. This particular one came with extended leads so they are around 300mm long which is useful for larger crafts where your ESC is located far away.

I weighed the motor, it is approx. 95g without the extended leads, including extended leads it is approx. 120g.

The product specification says says this motor is for 4s lipo, however I have tested with my 3s lipo and it shows very good results. Using the 10x5.5" Carbon T-Mount prop from HobbyKing I got a maximum thrust of 880g at 12.5A using my 3s 4000mAh lipo.

It also runs very quiet and bearings are buttery smooth. To conclude I am very happy with this motor and feel it is well worth it's money.
