The Turnigy Multistar outrunners are designed with one thing in mind - maximising Multi-rotor performance! They feature high-end 45SH magnets, high quality NMB bearings, 22 Poles, custom motor mount and all are precision balanced for smooth running, these motors are engineered specifically for multi-rotor use.
The 4830-480 includes a prop adapter(6mm) and has a built in aluminium mount for quick and easy installation on your multi-rotor frame. These motors are supplied inside a nice foam lined Multistar metal box.
These Multistar outrunners have been specifically designed from the ground up for multi-rotor use and are not based on aeroplane motors.

I bought 6 of these for my y6, but running 1455 props and 6S battery, AUW 6.7 kg, the motors get very hot indeed. Not confident i think they would suit a lighter bird better, mine is a dslr rig. Dont get me wrong, heaps of power, no shortage, but i want a bit more flight time for AP.motori potenti per grandi dronigood motors for heavy lift applications had 3 on a tricopter with 15x5.5 props on 6s was crazy fast.

50.2w 119w 212w 316w 541won my hexa i can generate total thrust of 8-10kg on 5s and get flight time around 6-8min! i mean it's just unbelievable and at this price! i think if anyone is lifting real heavy load then this is the way to go rather then another one of 420kv. Thumbs up :)WARNING! I bought 8 of these motors for an Octocopter and 2 failed in the first four flights. Turned out the bullet connectors are faulty, but invisible to the eye to notice. Once I replaced all the bullet connectors these motors have been fine since.
