I'm going to upgrade this review of this motor. Since we replaced the bearings on all 6 units, we are impressed by the power and efficiency this motor delivers. Running on a 21lb Hex, spinning 16x5 APC props these motors don't even get warm under heavy stress. ESC's are Castle 35A multirotor ESC. It seems to be a perfect match as even the ESC's remain cool.

10Kx2 ma 22v batterys provide 30 minute mission times with a decent reserve.

We made custom tooling for these to get the out-runner can open and to remove and replace the stock bearings with NSK. Custom shims were ground to adjust the pre-load.

With the price reduced to 48 bucks this is a good deal for any project needing heay lifting power on a 22v hex

So sad, This motor is an epic fail...read on
Completely unusable, All 6 motors for my customers Hex have .003 in. axial play in the shaft. Once again, HK goes to great length to provide a superb looking product, Well machined, Well Wound. Only to fail with the bloody top bearing on ALL 6.

These Motor run cool, deliver the rated power and would have been a perfect match if my Hex didn't move. any roll motion caused the motors to vibrate and emit a horrible crunching sound with a serious increase in vibration. I don't trust them as they are. Put them on the shops test stand and the same issue if the assembley was rotated.

Mechanical Play is not an option on a brushless multi-rotor motor this size.

We took a chance on these and now stuck with almost $400 of SCRAP. Due to thier closed can design, bearing replacement is not an option.

Not even going to argue a return, Just will stick to the few thing my business needs that are proven to work with no issues from HK...Lesson learned
