    The Multistar USB tool for all V2 Multistar ESC’s. Multistar ESC's feature an ATmega MCU that opens the door to customizable firmware – The V2 Multistar comes with BLheli software pre-installed, and for those so inclined this easy to use USB tool is available for Configuration and updating via the BLHeli Suite GUI. This allows you to easily reverse motor direction without changing motor wires, adjust a host of setting to include Demag compensation and timing for Hi-KV motors with Sync issues.

     

    MultiStar ESCs are a quality speed controller at a fantastic price! Designed for simple installation and easy setup these ESCs have proven to offer excellent performance when used in Multi-rotor applications. If you're starting out in Multi-rotors and need an easy to install solution that is tested and proven to work with Multi-rotor craft then these speed controllers have you covered.

     

    To use the programming tool simply download the free BLHeli suite software plug the USB tool into the computer and select the comport, next connect the receiver connection wire from the ESC to the USB tool and turn power onto the ESC. Press connect and adjust parameters as needed and select flash and you’re done.

     

    Note: The tool is for the Multistar V2 series of ESC and use with BLHeli suite GUI software, And is not compatible with other ESC’s.

    1. install the driver

    2. start BLHeli Suite

    3. Select Amtel/Silabs Interface = 1 Amtel BLHeli Bootlader (USB/Com)

    4. Plug in USB programmer into your computer

    5. Select the correct port: COM xx [USB SERIAL CH340 (COM xx)]

    6. Select the correct speed (Baud 9600)

    7. Connect ESC plug into USB programmer (without the red cable !!!)

    8. Click on Connect

    9. Click on ReadSetup and quickly connect Lipo at ESC (you have 2 or 3 seconds)

    Works fine.
    I read config from my Multistar 10A V2; it was in version 11.7. I flashed with new version 13 of BLHeli and I adjusted some settings. The only trik is to cut the red wire of the USB programmer and to power the ESC from a BEC 5V.

    Procedure (to combine with LeBobo's MultistarV2 Pack ) :
    1. install the driver
    2. start BLHeli Suite
    3. Set "ATMEL / SILABS" to "ATMEL 1-Wire Bootloader Interface"
    4. Plug in USB programmer into your computer
    5. Select the correct port: COM xx [USB SERIAL CH340 (COM xx)]
    6. Select the correct speed (Baud 9600)
    7. Connect ESC plug into USB programmer (without the red cable !!!)
    8. Click on Connect
    9. Click on ReadSetup and quickly connect Lipo at ESC (you have 2 or 3 seconds)

    It is not a programmer for Multistar, it is a universal programmer from Multistar.
    The stick has always worked with BLHeliSuite, with ANY Atmel based ESC, which has the small 512 bytes BLHeli bootloader flashed over ISP (and which do not have an inverted input, like the Multistar V1 ESC have). It has NOT been specially build for Multistar ESC nor is it somehow bound to work only with Multistar ESC.
    All the negative reviews address the Multistar V2 ESC, not the this Multistar programmer.
    As far, as it tested, it works great and is easy to use.
    The best solderless ready-built adapter for the small 512 bytes BLHeli bootloader (or other 1-Wire AVRootloader solution).
