    More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech Lipoly batteries were designed from the ground up with serious performance in mind. Utilising an advanced LiCo nano-technology substrate that allows electrons to pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rates than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) batteries.

    Advantages over traditional Lipoly batteries;
    • Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg.
    • Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load.
    • Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mO compared to that of 3mO of a standard Lipoly.
    • Greater thermal control, pack usually doesn’t exceed 60degC
    • Swelling during heavy load doesn’t exceed 5%, compared to 15% of a normal Lipoly.
    • Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate.
    • Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries.
    • Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.

    The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives. The nanometer conductive additives form ultra-strong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.

    These additives create the ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.

    PURE GARBAGE. Probably received defective packs with horrible cell-balance within the range of 4.1 to 4.2V (some cells refuse to charge up to 4.2). Tried flying them once -> 0 power > back to HK. They can put it in the trash themselves.

    After <7 flights one cell already dead and no warranty. In my personal opinion this is not any better (at least not significant) then 25C 5000mAh Nanotech. I use them both in a Viper jet with 100A of current. For me the 25C's are even better. Internal resistance is also lower. Temperature after one flight is below 35 Celsius. So for me this 65C is not worth the extra cost, especially now it is broken after a few discharges.

    This pack has enough C rating to give enough power to my T-Rex 550 Pro DFC. I ve read in some german forums that this pack loses power at about 20 charges and swells. I dont know what they do with their packs. I ve my for about 2 month. Fly it each day i can at cold weather (rain, snow, storm) even dont warm up this pack and have about 40 charges on it. What should i say. The drift of the cells is between 2mv to 7mw. Very good. It delivers Power for 4,30 mins at 2400rpm with 13th pinion. Very good pack for a good price.

    I had one for 3 months never over discharged and bal charged very time ,and i only had 10 flights on it , well one cell is dead and they wont cover anything ,so i would say dont buy !
