Turnigy nano-tech A-SPEC G2 lithium polymer batteries are built to the absolute highest of standards to provide competition level performance.

The A-SPEC G2 packs have the most stable consistent formula yet giving you peak performance without sacrificing reliability. Featuring gold plated balance leads, silver plated discharge wires and an CNT (carbon nano tube) additives mixed into the electrodes, these batteries are simply unmatched by any other in performance and build quality! The new CNT/electrode mixture reduces impedance, generating less heat and maintaining a higher voltage under discharge load. Basically what this means is that these batteries will provide more power in your machine especially during high current draw manoeuvres, and they will provide a longer cycle life due to the lower operating temperatures of the pack.

Top notch performance and build quality make these packs ideal for high-demand flying such as 3D helicopters, EDFs, F3A and any other high current draw applications.

More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech A-SPEC lithium polymer batteries are built with a LiCo nano-technology substrate complex and an all new CNT (carbon nano tube) additive greatly improving power transfer making the oxidation/reduction reaction more efficient, this helps electrons pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rate than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) battery.

For those that love graphs, it means a straighter, longer curve. For pilots it spells stronger throttle punches and unreal straight-up performance. Unfortunately with other big brands; numbers, ratings and graphs can be fudged. Rest assured, TURNIGY nano-techs are the real deal, delivering unparalleled performance!

Specs:
Capacity: 2200mAh
Voltage: 3S1P / 3 Cell / 11.1V
Discharge: 65C Constant / 130C Burst
Weight: 192g (including wire, plug & case)
Dimensions: 103x34x26mm
Balance Plug: JST-XH
Discharge Plug: XT60 Connector

Advantages over traditional Lipo batteries.
• Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg.
• Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load.
• Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mO compared to that of 3mO of a standard Lipoly.
• Greater thermal control, pack usually doesn't exceed 60degC
• Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate.
• Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries.
• Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.

The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives. The nanometer conductive additives form ultra-strong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.

These additives create the ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.

  • Capacity (mAh) 2200.00

Bought 2 of these.
Used them a few times, but on both lipo's the cells do not match anymore. Big differences.
Absolute the worst lipo's I ever bought.
Not what you expect of a more expensive lipo.

Disappointed with these lipos. Ordered two and the ESR IR's are very high. 10 9 7 on the first and 11 10 7 on the second. Real C ratings around 16C, no wonder they puff when you put too much load on them. The Turnigy Heavy Duty are much better at a fraction of the cost.

So far so good with this lipo. No swelling and really packs a punch. Plenty of power for my quadcopter, gives some nice acceleration off the line. The local hobby store told me "HobbyKings batteries don't really perform at the c-rating they claim". And went on to tell me that they are really just B grade batteries. He obviously hasn't tried the nano tech line. These batteries are great! Thanks again HobbyKing!!

Use this battery on my Walkera V450D03 and Walkera Runner 250 advance - it's a realy powerfull battery! Quick charge, good capacity, no problems. Will use farely. Recomend to buy. Quality is not expesive in this case.

Good battery, had a great long flight on my 280 quadcopter. Only thing to signal is that after a great flight one cell was 3.1 and the other 3.30.... I'll keep an eye on it

I have 2x1800 and 2x2200mAh. All of them work well but are terribly puffed. I am not drawing more than 45A, never charge them with more than 2.5A and keep them at storage voltage when not used for more than 2 weeks.

I love these batteries, it can take a lot of abuse before it'll get puffy. I tested them on many planes and small helis and after a year of use they're only 10pcnt puffed. compared to how many flights I had on them its as good as any other more expensive lipos.

Sry but this batt is horrible... i bought two batt and used only 5 times and 115ohm resistence.. no more this.. no more. My ZIPPY is more better, no problem with 15pcs batt.

High C rating is great for performance

but be ready to buy a replacement after 3 months as mine, all 3 battery is puffing with use once a week cycle.

These batteries make me wonder if the mah ratings in other lipo's

can really be correct, lobbed one in ye old axn floater- hassled some gulls for far too long and they the voltage was barely down. Seriously, you could get an hour flight time I think. They are fairly heavy.
