Excellent Motor

Aug 18, 2019

I Have been using this motor for about 6 months now with a 30a turnigy plush speed controller and a 10x6 3 blade prop which probably draws far to amps but this motor is the best!!!!!!!!!!

Great motor

Jul 08, 2019

Biggest motor you can buy to run a 3s on I'm using a turnigy plush 30 a and a 10.5 prop on a flite test racer . Tried a few different props now 8x6 9x5 10.45 . These did not produce enough power . 10x5 is great for my level of flying but I also have a few more 10x 6 and 7 and some 11 inch props to try now . Well impressed by the motor I actually purchased another as a spare.
Shaft on one has now broke due to a crash down to bad signal on a new flight field

Good

Apr 18, 2019

Wow what can I say , I'm pritty new to electric and planes. This is by far the best motor I have tried to date . It's massive in comparison to some others I have had. The wires are heat shrink where they go in to the coils which from what I have read from other motors makes this much better as less likely to damage them . I just did my first flite with this one using a 3s 2200 zippy a turnigy plush 30a 10x4.5 prop . In a flite test speedster . I think total flying weight was around 1200 grams . It's was too much for me to handle way too fast so will need to adjust the prop. Couldn't get it slow enough in the room I had to land it also I think with that 10 inch prop it's abit much on the esc . Within a few pass's I could heat the rpm of the motor dropping . After my crash landing bat was on 40% . So all I need to do it some slight glueing smaller prop and larger esc I think . Other than that buy some when you can . I got 2 just incase

Very nice!

May 14, 2018

Bought this as a backup for a 3530 SK3 but ended up using this instead. Using it in a MX2 EPP with a 10x5 "thin e-prop" and a 30A YEP ESC, AUW is 750g. Maxes out around 30A static so you could use a bigger prop but I get enough thrust for vertical and good flight times so I´ll stick with this combination for a while. The connecting wires is not the best I have seen but they work. I like the propeller adapter, you don't need special tools to fasten it.

I bought this motor for a Flying W that I just built. I put a 10X8 slow prop on it with a LiPo 11.1V 1600mAh S3 battery and a 30 amp push Turnigy ESC. I sounded really nice and took it outside on the grass to test it out. would hardly move the W and got really hot. After a couple more tries and full throttle for about 30 seconds the motor smoked. not sure what happened besides I was using a 4S battery when it smoked but, I put a Turnigy Park 450 on the W and it has been fine ever since flies great. Only reason giving a 4 is not sure if the 4S battery had something to do with the motor smoking or not.

I used this motor for my super cub mod. It's got the power and 6 to 9 minute flights with 11.1 2200 battery.

Great motor with good power. Swings a slowfly 10x4.5 prop on 3s producing 365watts @ 30amps. Using on a 64" wingspan foam fpv plane based on an experimental airlines design weighing 1.7kgs.
