Turnigy Reaktor 2 x 300W 20A Balance Charger

This new Turnigy Reaktor 2 x 300W 20A Balance Charger with a compact case design will really blow you away by its high power, high current and it’s extremely efficient Advanced Synchronous Buck-Boost DC/DC converter system. A powerful microprocessor handles numerous types of charging/discharging settings for different types of battery chemistry. On top of that, it also comes with special function modes like motor (brushed) break-in and foam-cut drive which are like icing on the cake. To protect itself, the Reaktor's internal cooling fan will start automatically when internal temperature reaches 55 degree celcius (131F), the output power is automatically reduced by 25%. If the temperature exceeds 60 degree celcius (140F), the cycle is stopped.

For added safety while charging lithium batteries, a cell monitor program looks at the per-cell voltages, and process time during charge/discharge. If any individual cell appears over-charged/discharged or the process has gone on for too long, the charger will generate an alarm sound and the related information will blink. Monitor the health of your pack by checking the internal resistance of the battery pack as well as the per-cell internal resistance on balance tap equipped lithium packs. The Reaktor also has protection for reversed polarity (input or output), low input voltage, charging capacity and time overrun. Balance ports integrated into the side of the Reaktor's case means there is no need for extra balance boards to clutter up your table or to lose.

Bundled with the Turnigy Reaktor 2 x 300W is an array of charging wires and plugs, suitable for most of the batteries on the market today.

I have had LiPo batteries to run a custom e-bike for some time and the batteries were getting in the 50+ mv out of balance area. I recently purchased new batteries thinking that the batteries I had were getting old. It didn't take long to figure out that it was my old chargers. I bought two of these so I can charge four packs at a time. They both balance the packs to within 10mv. Couldn't be happier. I have even recovered some older packs that I thought were long gone using the available pre-charge function. I will never again buy anything than a genuine Turnigy charger.

An excellent charger

I just got this charger f0or 6S 2200 and 3S 2200 mAH LiPos and have used it 1x. It is great. I noted cell voltages are within about 20 mV during Balance Charge well before the cells are full. It is quick and charges right up to the end at a relatively high current. I have another charger that really has a poor algorithm (or is failed) and drops charge current to near zero as it approaches full. I can charge 3 batteries on this new charger in the time the other takes. This is a winner.

I was very pleasantly surprised at the high quality of the build, it's a very sturdy unit and tough. I use it connected to a power supply at home but when I take it out to the track I use a large capacity 4S Lipo as a power supply, with that I can execute high current charge and regenerative discharge of my 5000 2S race packs. I do wish it did LiHv Lipos but even so, it's a great charger and I have recommended it to friends.

I like this charger a lot. I've had it for a year and a half now. No problem whatsoever! The cell max voltage is adjustable to 4.30V in custom settings. I just wish it was 4.35V so that I can use it with LiHV batteries. Just wondering if there's a way to update the firmware...

Love this charger, been using if for a year now and still going strong.
It´s powered by a 24v 62 Amp DC 1500w Power Supply. Also have the ability to connected 2 Parallel charging Board for 6 packs 2~6S from Hobbyking. With that setup I can charge 12 lipos at same time if needed. I have 6 lipo´s each (6*3S 1300mah and 6*4S2200mah) for my 2 different size Quads that I mostly fly and hardly any downtime if I need to head out fast. PS I don´t always para charge, only when in a real hurry, usually plan my days and charge them 1 at the time the night before I know I´m going out for a spinn.

I just received this charger. I plugued it on my 24Volts 1200W Turnigy Power Supply with the good polarity. And I heard a "pop" sound with flamme and fume. I unplugued it immediatly... But there were lot of fume (like condensator bad smell) all in my house. I think this is very good charger but I got a bad one :(
I already have the 4 charger version and I never had problem with it. Just with this one :(

I upgraded to a 6S battery and a large multirotor so I needed a charger that would handle the higher current requirements for charging. I could not be happier with my choice. This charger does everything I want it to do and more. It remembers your last function and if you need to do a different function it is easy to program. So far I have charged a few different types of battery's and used the storage charge feature and the internal resistance feature as well. If your on the fence about this dont worry its a great charger.

It is a good charger . basicly 2 300w chargers in one case but it has no usb port and no semp sensor port. next time i would buy 2 300w turnigy reaktors chargers
