    Sentry 18A Brushless Speed Controller
    The Sentry series of BESCs have an inbuilt battery cell protector.
    By plugging the connector into the batterys charge port the BESC can ensure that the pack is balanced and that the pack never drops below a recomended level. This ensures your pack wont be over-discharged and destroy your battery.
    Its the best way to protect your expensive batteries. Considering in most cases your battery costs more than your BESC, its a wise investment to get a Sentry.

    Schoener Regler der einwandfrei funktionierte bis ich nach einer missglckten Landung noch mal den Motor anlaufen lie und der Regler spontan Rauchzeichen von sich gab. Dabei funktionierte das BEC weiterhin.

    Nachdem ich den Regler geoeffnet hatte war unter dem Kuehlblech einer der 15 MOSFETs abgeraucht.

    Warum, weiss ich nicht.

    Ich habe von der Reglerserie diverse in Betrieb und das ist der Erste der Aerger gemacht hat.

    Super Regler,habe ihn in einem Nurfluegler(Bongo)mit einem Hacker-Style Outrunner und 3S 1300 Turnigy Lipo. Funktioniert einwandfrei !

    Great ESC. works with turnigy programming card. Helps keep lipo cells balanced which is a plus for your batteries. My only complaint is that the motor leads are too short. I have this issue with all of the Turnigy ESC's I have bought so far. The motor leads could stand to be at least 2 inches longer.

    Great ESC for the money! Working flawlesly for quite a long time now. Also, a great feature to have is a separate cell monitoring. Much easier taking care of lipos with this one. Easy programing with card.

    Turnigy Sentry has a very good feature that is detects the battery voltage very efficiently because the balance plug can beplugsed into it. a very good feature...
