Hi, I use this motor on my HK550GT and it runs great on 6S, very powerfull and for my soft 3D flying does the job very well. After 6 min flight it is a little hot, but not too much. I use yep 150 ESC with it and 5000MAh Zippy 40C LiPo. The performance for my opinion is very good.

For motor mounting i had to make a small mod by cutting some carbon frame, but no big deal - very easy to modify and it is worth doing it.

15 minutes of fligh with a 13T pinion, 2 zippy batteries in parallel 2700mah 6s, throttle at 54pcnt at max point and 12 pitch, obviously not 3D flight but awesome performance of this motor, only issue is that l had to break it apart to apply some CA between the shaft and the stator because after the first flight it got loose

i purchased one of these for my hk600 heli yes you do have to take a small amount of frame away with a dremel so it misses the rotor it took me 5 minutes to do this its no big deal,well worth the bother for the extra bit

awesome power but it will require atleast 150 amp esc, i purchased the turnigy delux 100amp esc and it cant handle this motor with 550mm blades on my new hk550tt fbl. dont use it with anything smaller than 150amo esc. i hope someone read this and dont make the mistake i made .now i have to buy a bigger esc.

This motor only gets a 4 crown for overall rating because it is advertised as a 600 size motor yet does not fit a T-Rex 600 without modification. Frame has to be trimmed to allow for it width but after modification it works just fine in the 600. Also be nice if it included the mounting bolts and a pinion, the included bolts and pinion in T-Rex kits are not the right size.

I bought this motor last year for my hauya 7 blade 4" edf , and didnt try it till this .What a power house at low cost, though i had to enlarge the housing in the fan to fit it .Well worth ,on 7S i get about 8.5 LB thrust at 127Ap close to 3000Wp .And i gone try it on 8S or 10S to see how much more can I get out it .
